"She's so cruel. Why is she so cruel?!" She said, crying now, angry.

Devon wrapped her into a hug and whispered in her ear.
"She's trying to get to you, Akito." He whispered into her ear. "She wants you to feel alone. But you aren't. You're not alone." He said softly to her. He gave her a kiss on the cheek and genty stroked her hair.

Akito buried her face into his shirt for a moment, then looked up at him.
"Let's get back to my room before one of the family comes out of the room and sees us..." Akito murmered.

He nodded and relucantly pulled awya from Akito. He continued to lead her up to the room.

They walked into the room.
"Wooah. What happened?" Shigure asked when he saw Akito, face tearstained.
"That woman," was all Akito said.
Shigure nodded.

Devon had one hand resting gently on the small of her back, almost as if he was protecting her in a gentle and loving manner.
"She doesn't want to talk about it." The vampire snapped at the dog.

Devon nodded once, then pulled Akito over to the couch, gently forcing her to sit down.
"Rest." He said softly.
