"Definately." She turned, so her legs were hanging out the window and she was facing into the cool-ish breeze.
"There are stories Kureno told me when I was little. Like, if I woke up in the middle of the night if I had a bad dream. Or if I flat just couldn't sleep. He'd tell me stories about 'Mr. Moon'," She said.

Devon nodded again. He liked Kureno. He was kind.
"Did you sleep after he told you the stories?" He asked, gazing out the window again.

"Definately," Akito said with a smile. "I always went to sleep after he told me a story... even when I was asking him to tell me more," She laughed. "I'd fall asleep asking for more..."

"No," Akito said. "It's a little chilly, I mean, but I should be fine. It feels good in here, the Main House has been at a really hot temperature recently," She rolled her eyes. "Maids think I need it at seventy five, eighty degrees in this house..."

Akito grinned at him. "I spent the whole banquet outside without a coat. I'll be perfectly fine," she said with a quiet laugh.
It was still noisy. You could here sound-makers, and the popping of those little bombs that shot out confetti.
"I do get annoyed by how noisy it gets on New Year's..." She groaned.

((Everyone's inside, now, any people cursed with the cat would probably be remaining in the room... xP Layla ish a cat. And don't skip to sunrise yet, loads of other people need to post, and it's hardly past midnight... lol))
Kyo had headed back to the house which Yuki was thankful for. He had a bandage above his left eye. Shigure was heading upstairs to torment Akito for a bit. He didn't care if Devon was up there. Akito would never really let him be killed, anyway.

Devon smiled at Akito.
"I hope that Shigure didn't torment you. He said with a sigh, because Shigure probably did. "I'm sorry if he did. I shouldn't of left you, even though it is special for your family.." He shook his hair, his blonde bangs fell in front of his face, he wiped them away and sighed again.
"I'm sorry." He said again.

"Nngh, don't worry about it. Happens often, anyway," Akito shrugged.
And if on cue, the writer-mutt-thing came into the room. "Hello, Akki-san, bloodsucker!" He said casually, after closing the door. He nodded to each one as he said hello to them. When he said 'bloodsucker' he obviously meant Devon
Akito balled her hands up into fists. "Don't. Call. Him. That," she said angrily.
"Did I make my goddess angry?" He asked with a chuckle.
Akito fumed.

Devon, like the easily jealous vampire he was, narrowed her eyes.
"I could have gotten them for her myself, she doesn't need your help!" Devon snapped at him. He got up and walked over to the door, as if intent to get Akito something. He looked back at Akito. He ran his hand through his hair, which he did while thinking. He bit he lip for a split second then looked back up at Akito.
"Do you need anything?' He asked almost meekly.

"Now, now, are you jealous, Devon?" Shigure asked with a chuckle. He was only teasing, even in almost a friendly way.
A light blush colored Akito's cheeks now, and she was thankful the light was off.
"Aah... Devon-kun... it's okay... and Shigure, I'm not really hungry right now. I ate enough at the banquet..." She said.
Da**it! She was letting her more girlish instincts get the best of her... like being embarrassed when her lover got jealous because her ex-lover was bringing her food.
"Oh, well... I suppose I'll eat it myself... hmm... where is the 'prodigal' anyway? Don't you usually have him by your side at all times?" Shigure asked. By 'prodigal' he meant Kureno.
Akito rolled her eyes at him.

Devon walked over to Akito, he almost shot a glare at Shigure, but decided against it.
"Kureno isn't here." Devon said, his voice monotone, like it normally was when he was trying to be polite with Shigure.

((I know it sounds crazy, but I can see Devon and Shigure as becoming very close friends... XD))
Shigure chuckled.
"Must be in his room. He never seemed to like loud noises. Just like a sparrow," He said. Somehow it seemed like he was mocking Kureno in a way.
"Shut up, Shigure," Akito said to the black-haired man.
Shigure shrugged and pretended to zip his lips shut and lock them.
