"Nice to meet all of you. Carlisle-san, I am Isami, Yuki's mother," Isami said.
Yuki had been perfectly silent the entire time, standing straight up, obviously nervous that his mother was here. He sure hoped it wasn't bothering Jasper too much.

Jasper shot Yuki a small smile, then allowed the atmosphere in the room to become calm.

Isami had been able to tell Yuki was anxious, but she saw Yuki suddenly relax, a calm air coming around the room. She had already been kind of calm, but now she felt even calmer. She felt surprised on the insde, but it wouldn't show, because of the calm atmosphere.
Yuki shot a thankful smile to Jasper.

Jasper that he was going to help Edward in the kitchen. He paused Yuki and said quietly.
"No problem."
Carlisle said something about having to do some work before dinner and he returned to his office.
Devon had been there that night. He wanted to visit Akito, but Alice had begged him to stay , claiming that he practically lived at Akito's house now.

Most of the 'children' had cleared out. Devon had gone back upstairs to brood.
Esme and Isami were the only ones left in the room.

"Oh, yes, and his good-for-nothing brother Ayame really got on my nerves too. He wouldn't even tell his brother to behave, obey his mother. But I see you have raised these kids well. Especially since one of them is cooking. Did he put up a fuss, complain or anything when you had him make dinner?" Isami asked.

"I'm starting to be rather fond of your daughter, Ember. I'm sorry, I misjudged her at first, but I see she's a good child. I'm actually a bit proud of Yuki for choosing such a good young lady as his girlfriend," said Isami with a small smile.

Yuki knew Ember could probably hear what his mother was saying. "Em, what's she' saying? Anything bad about you or anything?" He asked worriedly.
