"Yeah... that was kinda... uh..." Kyo laughed a bit, almost embarrassed. The blush still didn't leave his cheeks, but actually got a little brighter.
Tadao laughed at his cousin.

"Yeah, I know. You know, at first I had no idea what you meant by... 'my water broke'." Kyo put air quotes around the statement. "You confused me."
Tadao smiled at Kyo. "Calm down, s'okay Kyo. You wanna hold the baby?"
"Um... Ah..."
"Come on. He won't bite," Tadao said with a laugh, putting the baby into his cousin's arms. Kyo held it, rocking it back and forth awkwardly.

Shade laughed, and then watched as Kyo rocked the baby back and forth. She smiled slightly. Although Kyo might act harsh and mean at times, he was really just a softie. She'd bet that he'd be a good dad.

"So, what'd you name him, again?" Kyo asked. He couldn't remember whether he'd gotten the name or not.
"Lee, after Shade's dad," Tadao said.
Kyo nodded, and rocked the child a little more. It looked like Lee might be falling to sleep.
"He looks a lot like you," he told Shade.

Kyo's eyes widened in astonishment. "Me? G-godfather?"
Tadao let out a booming laugh. "Yeah. Hey, don't drop the baby," he said jokingly. People sometimes dropped things when surprised. He ruffled his younger cousin's hair.
"You wanna, right?"
"Sure, I guess," Kyo replied, returning to his gruff self. You could tell he was happy, though, even if he wasn't showing it. "How 'bout the godmother?"
((You can pick whoever you want. XD The godparents I have are not married, or even together. Aunt from dad's side is my godmother, umcle from mom's side is my godfather. XDDDDD))

Shade smirked at Kyo when he freaked out on them. She thought about the godmother now.
"My cousin Kyoshi will probably be the godmother..." She said. "She would like that."

Kyo nodded.
"Heh, Kyoshi and Kyo," Tadao said with a laugh. "Your names are alike."
"Shut up," Kyo muttered, looking down at the now sleeping baby.
"Let's take Lee back before Kyo decides to kidnap him, Shade," Tadao said.
Kyo glared. "I thought I told you to shut up."
((Should I have Yuki-kun walk in with the excuse of 'looking for the stupid cat 'cause he needs to help Honda-san with lunch'. XD))

Kyo nodded, and handed Shade the baby.
"There you are," came Yuki's voice as he headed quietly in, looking around the room. "Alice-san let me in."
"I didn't even see her leave..." Tadao said in surprise.
"What d'ya want, D**n Rat?" Kyo asked his rival in annoyance.
"Shigure... sent me to go get you so you could cook lunch. Honda-san is out and he doesn't trust me," Yuki replied almost sourly to the orange-headed teen.
"Yeah, because you'll burn everything," Kyo said tauntingly.
Yuki shrugged coolly then turned to Shade. A small smile lit on his face. He leaned against the doorframe, loosening his grip on the crutches. It had been hard to go up the stairs. He wondered where Ember was.
"Congratulations, Shade-san," he said.
Tadao smiled. "We named him Lee. Kyo's the godfather."
Yuki snorted. "Ha. Kyo? Really?"
"Shut up..." Kyo said, voice escalating.
"You're going to wake Lee, with that annoying voice. Some godfather you are," Yuki said, his turn to taunt.
Kyo muttered something about stupid rats and useless prettyboys.

"Both of you shut up, you're both gonna wake him up." Shade snapped at the two, for a spiltsecond, she sounded like an angry mother. But then she thanked Yuki quietly for congratulating her.
She rocked her sleeping child gently, his whisps of black hair had dried now, she smiled softly at her new child, she had a glow around her, she looked so happy right now. NOthing could ruin this moment for her.

Tadao smirked at Yuki and Kyo. Kyo looked sullen. Yuki felt a bit guilty, for almost waking the child. He didn't feel guilty about taunting Kyo, of course.
"Where's Ember?" He mumbled to Carlisle. The father figure would know, right?
Kyo smirked at Yuki a bit, Yuki glared icily back.
