Shade had just been hanging out with Kyo, she had told him a while back that she was pregnant, so now she didn't feel as odd around him, keeping secrets from him just didn't feel right to her.
Her belly was now buldging out of between her hips. She didn't know if the baby was a boy or a girl, she wanted to keep it a surprise. But today, the baby had been kicking around alot, and harder then normal.
She frowned and placed a hand on her stomach, feeling the sharp little kicks from the baby.
Suddenly, there came a kick that was harder then all the rest. Her eyes grew wide, she as gasped loudly. Two more kicks followed after that.
"Kyo!" She yelped loudly. "Th-the baby!"
Her water had broke.
"My water broke!"

"What?!" Kyo exclaimed. "Oh, G**, what do I do?!" Call Tadao? No... he didn't know how to deliver a child. Probably not, anyway. But still, he might haove to call Tadao. Since he would take the place of the father...
"Carlisle," he said suddenly.
((Alice should show up on the doorstep, muahaha. It'd be much easier than trying to practically haul her to the Cullens' house. XD))

Shade let out a yell, her eyes still wide and her breathing suddenly became ragged.
"Hurry!" She yelled at him, not meaning to, but honestly! He was standing around like an idiot when there was a woman giving birth in his bedroom!

((XD I feel bad for Shade. Tado would know what to do. Then again, he'd probably freak out too... I'll play Alice. x3))
"What the he** am I supposed to do?!" Kyo shouted. The doorbell sounded, and Kyo ran down the stairs, four at a time. He nearly fell but regained his ballance. He opened the door and saw Alice for a split second.
"Had a vision," said simply to him as she passed, then was going at light speed and was soon carrying Shade down the stairs.
"You can catch up!" She called to Kyo, who sighed. He went to the phone and called Tadao.
"Hello?"
"Your girlfriend's giving birth. Head over to the Cullen House, you know, where Hatori's staying."
There was only a click as Tadao hung up. Kyo ran to the Cullen House and as he got there saw Hatori exiting. Probably didn't want to cause any problems when his step-daughter gave birth.
"Yo," Kyo said, heading in the house. "Tadao's gonna be here soon," he said as he shut the door. He wondered if he should go up to Carlisle's office... no... probably not a good idea...

From upstairs you could hear Shade yelling and groaning. Along with some rather colorful cuss words.
"Where's Kyo and Hatori!?" Came the loud demand.

"Kyo's downstairs. Hatori went outside. I'm no mind reader, but I think he just doesn't want to cause any problems. In case there's blood," Alice said. She was hold Jasper's hand, just as a precaution. She'd be ready to stop him if she had to, though she didn't feel she would.
Tadao ran in.
"Where is she?" He asked Kyo. Kyo pointed toward the stairs. It was really obvious where she was...
Tadao rushed up the stairs and into the room where Shade was. He went to her side while Carlisle worked and took her hand, lips pursed in anxiety.

"Tadao..." Shade breathed, and then let out another pained yell, her eyes squeezed shut. She held onto Tadao's hand tightly.
After a long time of yelled and cussing loudly, what felt like forever to Shade, the child was finally born. The childs first soft wail, almost made Shade's heart melt.
Rosalie, who had always wanted a child, had been there. She looked at the baby with soft and and told Shade gently.
"It's a boy..."

Tadao stared, absolutely amazed. The tiny baby had little tufts of black hair. Right now his eyes were still blue, as all newborn babies' eyes were. He wondered if the child would have green eyes like Shade. He hoped so. He squeezed her hand, and remembered the names they'd decided on.
"Shadie, it's Lee," he whispered.

Shade smiled. "Lee..." She murmured.
Carlisle cleaned the child off, and the gently handed the baby to Shade, who had her arms reaching out to him. She cradled the baby against her chest, looking down at him with a soft smile.

Tadao was grinning ear to ear. He was so proud. Even if he wasn't the actual father, he felt he would do well. Hopefully. He watched Shade cradle the baby.
"Can I hold him?" He whispered.

Shade nodded once, and without a word, she passed the little child to Tadao for him to hold. She continued to watch her baby Lee as she handed him to Lee.

Tadao took the baby in his arms and smiled as it gave a little wail. Of surprise maybe? He cradled the child, rocking him back and forth. "Lee..." he mumbled. "Wow..." He ran his thumb down the tiny cheek, then very gently took one of the baby's hands. They were so small...

Shade watched, feeling happier then she had felt in a long time. Tadao looked so proud, like he was the father instead of the man that had rapped her. She gently leaned her head against Tadao's shoulder, still looking at Lee. She glanced up at Tadao, then back down at Lee.

Shade smiled, and touched the top of Lee's head, the whisps of black hair was still slightly damp.
"He's gorgeous." She said softly.

Shade looked up at Carlisle.
"Could you go and get Hatori and Kyo now?" She asked softly. The vampire doctor nodded once, then left the room to go and get the two.

"Yo," Kyo said when he saw Carlisle. "The screaming stopped. She's okay, right?"
Hatori headed in. He'd heard Shade from outside.
So... did this mean he was a grandfather?

Carlisle nodded, smiling slightly at the two. "Yes, she's fine. And her baby is healthy, too." He informed them. "She wanted to see you two."

Hatori thanked Carlisle and strided up the stairs. He headed into the room and looked at the small child in his brother's arms.
"Spring," he mumbled to himself, heading over to Tadao, who looked as stressed as Shade did exausted. But the two also looked happy.
"So, does this make me a grandfather, or an uncle...?" He asked.
"I dunno. Let's say grandpa," Tadao said with a laugh.
Kyo came up next.
"So, how's the baby?"
