Ember had been frightened, but now she was only a little shaken up.
"O-oh, it's Ayame..." Ember mumured. She shivered, the picked her jacket back up and put it on.

"I'm going to turn you into the police!" Yuki threatened Ayame angrily.
"Snakes die if they aren't warm enough, Yuki. I can't help it my--"

Yuki sighed, closing his eyes. "It's the second time he's done it," he said, dropping Ayame, who slithered over to the door anxiously. "Second time. You'd think the idiot would learn." He walked over to the door and slid it open. The snake went into the house.
"Let's go in to make sure he doesn't go up Honda-san's shirt next," Yuki said, holding his hand out for Ember to take.

Yuki walked in.
Shigure had picked the snake Ayame up. "Aw, poor Aya transformed because of the cold!"
" 'Poor Aya' crawled up Ember's shirt," Yuki snarled.

"Nii-san," Yuki said to the snake Shigure was currently holding. "Why in the world were you even on your way here? It's late."
"I wanted to come see my little brother, and Gure-san! And tease Kyonkichi. And be honored with the princess' cooking. Speaking of, where is the dear flower Tohru-kun?" Ayame said.
"She went to bed early. Fever," Shigure replied.
"That's too bad. Do you have any leftovers?" Ayame asked.
"Why don't you rest, Aya? You know how bad the cold is," Shigure told him, in a joking tone.

"It is pretty late." Ember agreed with Yuki.

"...You're staying? Well, don't go into Honda-san's room like you said you would last time," Yuki replied.
"But you'll lock your door," Ayame whined.

Yuki nodded. "Yeah, you can," he said, smiling now, at Ember.
"Why can't I?" Ayame whimpered.
"Because, idiot, you're a guy. Sleep in Shigure's room, like you did last time you stayed here. Or in Baka Neko's room. I don't care. Just don't sleep in Honda-san's room," Yuki replied to his older brother.

Yuki had an idea of how he could get out of there for a bit... though he wasn't sure about leaving Ember alone with Shigure and Ayame. Well... Kyo was in the room. He wouldn't let anything happen.
"Mm, Ember, do you mind if I go take a quick shower? I figure I should get that done before I go to bed," he chuckled a bit.
