Akito sat on the couch in her living room. Sun spilled through the window and she glanced at the clock. It was ten thirty am. Where was Devon?
He should be here in ten minutes... Akito told herself. Her fingers drummed on the coffee table. She was wearing a suit, tie and all.
Akito looked at the clock again. Ten thirty-one.
Tick, tick, tick...
She realized that now she was glaring at the clock, angry, annoyed. Then there was a knock on the door and she forced her gaze away from the clock. "Come in!" She called.

"Are we leaving now?" Akito asked impatiently, arms crossed over her chest. She was rather eager to experience what Devon had to show her. Though she looked rather annoyed and impatient, she was still smiling as she approached Devon.

Devon grinned. "Yeah were leaving now." He said, leadinghe to the car.

"Finally! I've been up since four thirty." Akito smirked. "I was awfully bored, waiting six hours for you to show up." She followed him to the car, getting in without waiting for him to open the door for her once they reached it.

Akito just laughed. She was in a very good mood today. Though she wouldn't be happy if this day with Devon was interrupted.

Deovn drove to the Church. He drove slower this time, he didn't want to scare Akito again with his fanitic driving.

"You could've driven faster. I'm getting used to it now." Akito told him, climbing out of the car when it stopped. She looked up at the large building, with the large cross at the top. The building was stone, and looked rather beautiful. But not only that. The building seemed to have a sort of presence. A sort of warmth. She could tell because the warmth was reaching her, even though she was walking very close to Devon.

He grinned at her. "Do you like it?" He asked her, then gazed at one of the stained glass windows. It was a dove. The dove was his favorite.

"It's beautiful..." Akito remarked breathlessly, as the dove caught her eye as well. She smiled. "Let's go in."

Devon nodded, walking into the large stone bulding which looked even bigger on the inside. He dipped his fingers into the Holy Water and did the sign of the cross.

Akito watched, then mimicked Devon's actions. "Why do we do that?" She whispered.

((I..actually don't know why we do that. I just joined the Church a year ago so theres a whole bunch of stuff I don't know. I /do/ know that stands for The Father, the Son, And the Holy Spirit...I think.))

Akito nodded, heading for a pew near the front and sitting down. A cross, with a man nailed to it, caught her eye. She nearly gasped. "Wha..." She said quietly, looking at Devon, then back at the cross. She was curious. Why in the worled would they have something like that here?

Devon figured what had cuaght her eye. "That's Jesus. He died on the cross to remove our sins so we could go t o heaven with him." He explained, sitting down next to her.

Akito nodded slowly. The opening hymn started. She didn't sing at first, she didn't know the words. She picked up one of the books, the one with the songs, she hoped, and looked through it. She looked to Devon for help.

Devin smiled and opened the book to the correct page. He told her queitly where to look to find the correct page for the book.

Akito nodded. She didn't want to sing at first. But she noticed that everyone was singing. She finally decided to sing. At first it was very quiet, unhearable to anyone but Devon. Then she sang a bit louder. The song ended then.
