Akito understood. Then there was a knock at the door. "Enter," She called quietly. The maid came in and gave her what she asked for and then walked out, shutting the door behind her. "Want to dance?" She whispered to Devon, after sipping some of the broth out of her soup.

Akito reached for the remote that sat on the coffee table beside the couch. She picked it up and put her soup there. She clicked the stereo on and stood up.

A song that Akito was familiar with began to play. It began with some delicate sounding piano playing. She closed her eyes and let Devon guide her through the song.

Akito let out a content sigh. She hadn't been this happy in such a long time. She could hardly believe this man existed. Her head laid against his hard, chest and his ice cold arms were wrapped around her. But she didn't mind. She couldn't care less about his temperature and the hardness of his skin. Just the fact that he loved her, and wouldn't ever leave her made her happy. She ignored the next song that played, a fast-beat song. She liked the first song better. It played again, in her head.

Akito stood on the tips of her toes and managed to kis Devon. It was a long one. She could hardly breath right now, but she didn't care. She continued to kiss him.
((I wonder if Devon thinks they've gone too far yet. I wonder how heartbroken Akito would be if he pushed her away. XD That would be fun, huh? lol))

Akito felt hurt, though not much of it showed in her eyes. "Why...?" She questioned quietly. She bit her lip to keep it from trembling. There was the slightest tightness in her throat.
