Illyira let out a low growl.
"I tire of this." She said, her voice void of all emotion. She slammed Akito against a near by bird bath, listening to the sound of her skin ripping against the rough stone.

Alice stopped breathing immediately. Luckily, she hadn't gotten the scent of Akito's blood. But if she got near, Illyria could still easily snap Akito's neck. There wasn't anything Alice could do. She gritted her teeth in frustration.
Akito whimpered, then bit her tongue to stop herself. Showing pain might urge the woman on. She stopped biting her tongue when it began to bleed, though, and whimpered again.

Illyria smirked slightly.
But shreiked when a body collided with her.
Devon had slammed Illyria away from Akito, throwing the woman sevral feet and to the ground.
"Get away from her!" Devon roared.

Akito gasped in surprise at her sudden rescuer. She had been knocked to the ground when Devon had slammed Illyria away. Now she got back up, and leaned against the bird bath that had been being used to harm her just a few moments ago.
Alice smiled a bit. She still didn't breathe, though. Blood!

Illyria hissed and pulled away from Devon, preparring to flea. Devon yanked her back, and Illyria punched Devon in the jaw. He let go, momentarily. Blood appeared on Illyria's busted knuckles. The pain was new, surprising to her. The blood dripping from her fist was actually startling... for a moment, she didn't react.
