Akito nodded. "He goes hunting a lot," she commented. "I thought vampires only had to eat every now and then."
"Yeah, that's right. But Devon probably just wants to be careful, you know?" Alice pointed out.

The scent of another vampire came to Esme. at first, she thought it was just Devon. But the scent wasn't his. This was a warm scent, like brazilian tree nut and chocolate mixed with the vampire. Esme turned in the opposite direction, which was where it was coming from.
Esme stared at the figure behind her. Kira... ? No.
"Stupid human."

Akito whirled in the direction of the voice. Alice had, too, heard the vampire coming, and had turned with Esme.
"You again?!" Akito said angrily, eyes narrowed.
Alice was positive that this wasn't Kira, and she was guessing Akito knew that too. She knew Akito probably had dislike for Kira as well, but she wouldn't let her temper flare up like that immediately if it were merely Kira.

Ilyria remained calm herself. She walked past Akito, her arm barely brushing Akito's.
"Where is the human that has claimed my host as a mate?" She asked, not facing Akito as she spoke, but she looked at the orchids that grew on a tree instead. She stroked one colorfull petal lightly, before walking a few steps away from it.

Alice didn't say anything, pretending not to know who had 'claimed' Illyria's host as a mate.

"Don't lie to me." She hissed out in her cold, flat voice, only changing her pitch to say the one word.
