Kira was silently reading at her house. She was kind of lonely. Hatori couldn't come and visit often, Shade was school during the day, but then she went to Tadao's house.
So Kira was alone most of the time.
She was sitting on the couch, reading a book, her hair pulled up in a ponytail away from her face, showing her soft neck. She looked up when the door opened, then smiled.
"Hatori!" Kira said, her voice exclaimed softly.

Hatori smiled. His eyes hadn't changed a lot, but they weren't the same shade of red. They were just a bit lighter. Just a smidge closer to orange. He glided over to her gracefully, something he didn't really take notice to. He took a seat next to her, doing his best to ignore her mouth-watering scent.
"Hello," he said.

"That so? I didn't notice," Hatori said, carefully leaning in and giving her a tiny peck on the cheek. Scent was over powering, but he controlled his thirst. He had good control over most things.

"Yeah. You're pretty quiet when you walk, too." She said to him.

"Interesting. I didn't know that," Hatori said with a chuckle. "I can hear my footsteps, and other vampires' footsteps, easily. Then again, I can also hear your heart beat," he said, smirking slightly.

"I'll make sure next time I see Shade and Tadao at the Main House I'll send them over. You shouldn't be alone all the time," Hatori said. "I'm sorry I can't be around."

Kira smiled at him. "You don't have to do that, I'm fine, I just miss you." She told Hatori honestly. She brushed her bangs away from her face, still smiling softly.

"How's our baby coming?" Hatori asked, resting a hand curiously on her stomach, though it wasn't that big yet.

Kira smiled again. "Very well." She said, look down at the small bump on her stomach and Hatori's hand resting gently on it.

"There's a heart beat," Hatori practically whispered. He had a light smile on his face, and a focused look in his eyes.

Kira's eyes grew wide. She was smiling widely.
"Really?" She asked, her voice also a hushed whisper.

"Yes. It's very quiet. But I can hear it," Hatori replied. He closed his eyes, statue still as he concentrated. "It's moving. Just a bit. It's too small for you to feel it, though, but it's moving." he murmered to her.

Kira smiled wider, she didn't know what to say, she was just so amazed right now.
((Wouldn' Haa-san feel two heartbeats, since it's twins? Just asking. LoL. ^^))

Hatori's brow furrowed suddenly, a surprised look in his eyes.
"Two heartbeats..." he mumbled, a bit shocked.
