Shade smacked him upside the head.
Moshi raised an eyebrow. He thought this was rather patchetic, really.

Shade looked just about ready to skin her brother alive. "Shut up, Ryuu." She growled.
Kira chewed anxiously on her lip. It was bleeding a little bit. She stopped when she tasted the blood.
She looked up at Hatori, a sorry looked on her face. "I'm so sorry, Hatori..." She said to him.

Moshi looked at Hatori, then at Kira.
"A curse?" He asked.

Hatori nodded. "Yeah. A curse. Like I said, the Sohma family is cursed. It has been for generations, actually..." He murmered. "Why?"
It seemed for now danger had passed. But he was prepared for Moshi to attack.

"Because, I'm close to them. I don't like it when people I'm close to our hurt," Hatori said. He couldn't save Kana from her suffering after his eye was hurt, but he could try to protect the woman he loved and the girl he saw as a daughter, and a sort of friend... though more daughter.
