Shade let out a small, relieved sigh.

"I guess. But only because Shade and Mom trust you." He said to Hatori.

Hatori nodded. "That's all I ask for," He said to the boy. "So... how are you?" He asked, meaning the injuries Ryuu had gotten.

"Hm, there seems to be a family gathering. And I wasn't invited?" Came a chilling voice.
The Sato's in the room froze.
They turned their heads slowly too see a tall man and somewhat handsome man with dark hair and eyes as cold as ice.

Hatori was immediately in front of Kira, pulling Shade behind him as well.
"What do you want?" He asked coldly.

"Hatori..." Kira said, holding onto his arm gently. She really didn't want him to get angry at Moshi, but she didn't know what to say to get him to calm down.
Shade allowed Hatori to pull her behind him.
Ryuu stood up and positioned himself infront of his family his eyes narrowed at the man.
Moshi let out a cold, harsh laugh.
"You know...that isn't going to help." He told them, his words were smooth, like oil, and almost soothing in a cruel way. It made you feel as if nothing really could help and that you were alone, secluded from everyone.
Kira gripped Hatori's arm a bit harder without knowing it. Fear clearly shone in her green eyes.

The voice didn't affect Hatori. Akito could make her voice like that. He'd learned to cope with it.
"I don't believe you," He replied simply. The iciness of his tone matched the iciness that was in Moshi's eyes.

"Get the h*** out of my house, you b*****d!!" Yelled Kira, stepping past Hatori.
This monster, hurt her children...
He seemed a bit surprised at Kira violent outburst. He chuckled again.
Kira flung herself at the man again, Ryuu caught his mother, holding her back by the arms. He had never seen Kira act this way...
She spat out rather...colorfull...insults at him, struggling against her sons grip. Her son was much bigger then Kira. But Kira was really upset right now...
...if you call it upset.

Hatori put a hand on Kira's shoulder, not leaving from standing in front of Shade.
"Kira, shhh, he might hurt you," he said quietly.

Kira's breathing slowed to it's normal rate and Ryuu carefully released Kira.
Kira turned away from Moshi and back to Hatori, leaning against him again. She was thinking about hw stupid she had been. How she needed to think, instead of react.

Hatori was tempted to kiss the girl's forehead, but didn't. Instead, he gently pushed her back behind him, but she could still lean on him.

Kira was suddenly very tired, as if that had drained all the strength from her.
Moshi watched, and amuzed expression on his face. "How sweet." He said with no feeling at all. "I used to have someone very close to me myself...she's dead now." He said, a small, but deadly gleam in his icy eyes.
"All of them are going to dye. They'll kill each other, slowly. Just look at what they are doing to Kira..." Moshi said.
"Shut up!" Snapped Shade. Moshi laughed darkly. His hand flew up and struck her across the face. She held her hand there and glared at Moshi. He pulled something from behind him.
A whip.
He pulled it back and lashed it at Shade. She screeched and held her arm up to protect her face. A long gash appeared on her arm. Shade, now appeared terrified.

Hatori felt such a strong urge to punch Moshi that it practically hurt when he resisted. Instead, he grabbed Moshi's wrist that had the hand holding the whip. "Never. Do. That. Again," He nearly snarled.
