Hatori smiled slightly. "You're going to feel a bit drowsy in about fifteen minutes, but you probably know that," He said. Kira was a pretty girl... she reminded him of Kana.

She nodded, and soon enough, her eye lids began to droop. She didn't want to fall asleep infront of Hatori though, that would be embarassing! So she struggled with herself to stay awake.

She blushed.
"Do you think....you could stay here?" She asked, her cheeks were pink.

"All right. Why don't I cook you something while you're asleep?" Hatori suggested. "Do you like soumen?"

"You don't have to...but I'd like that." She said, holding in a yawn.
She was soon asleep, to tired t fight it anymore, It was like the soft hands of a tide pulled her away into a land where she wasn't sick anymore.
Her soft black hair was around her shoulders, a small strand of hair though, was resting on her side of her nose.

Hatori smiled at the sleeping Kira. She looked so blissful. He stood up slowly and walked to the kitchen and started looking around for the soumen. He started making it. It smelled good.

Kira was still sleeping soundly. The pain in her head had ebbed away. At least now it didn't feel like a bomb went off in her brain and the peices of sharpnel were bouncing around inside of her skull.

Soon Hatori was finished making the soumen. He left the burner on low, so the food wouldn't get cold. Then he sat down in a chair, waiting for Kira to wake up. He looked at the pictures on the wall. A little girl with black hair and green eyes. That must have been Shade when she was very little. She was sitting on a man's lap. Wait, the man's face looked familiar. Oh wow, it was Lee. Kira had married Lee? He vaguely remembered Kira having an obvious crush on the boy. That crush must have really developed. There were other pictures, too. He smiled as he looked at the pictures. Then he started watching Kira for a bit, wanting to make sure nothing happened in her sleep.

Kira stirred. She opened her eyes, and brushed that one strand of hair away from her face. She pushed herself up into sitting poistion, and then brushed her hair back ehind her ear.
The corners of her mouth turned up when she saw Hatori, she half expected him to leave.
"You stayed..." She said quietly.
Se looked up at the picture on the wall Hatori was looking at. Her eyes suddenly filled with a great sadness, the way she looked everytime she saw that picture.
She then, turned away from the smiling face of her dead husband and her little girl.
"The soumen smells good, Hatori-san." She said to him.
She gazed back up at the wall, there was another picture. All three of her children. Danny had Shade on his shoulders, she was smling brightly, and Timid little Haru clung onto his older brother's leg. Both of her children, really admired Danny.
After a few seconds of looking at the picture, she turned her attention back to Hatori. She really regretted looking at the pictures, she hopped she wouldn't tear up.
"Thank you." She told hatori, her voice still soft like this morning.

"Well, I wasn't just going to leave," Hatori said. "I wanted to make sure that nothing happened while you were sleeping." Then he replied to Kira's comment on the soumen. "Thank you. Want me to get you some?" He asked.

"You're looking a bit better, too," Hatori said, agreeing with Kira. He got up. "I tried mixing in a few spices, I do it at home, so I used the ones that you have. It has spices that are good for people when they're sick." He walked to the kitchen with her.

"Thank you," Hatori said, fixing himself some and then getting himself a set of chopsticks.
"So, a little while ago, Shade said you met Kyo. Have you gotten to meet Yuki, too?" He asked.

Hatori nodded. "He's a polite boy. He and Kyo are almost complete opposites," He chuckled a bit. "Kyo blows up a lot, but Yuki stays calm. Those two fight an awful lot."
