Tadao rushed out, and ran right into a doctor. "Ah, I'm sorry. Shade woke up. And she wants to know if she can go back to sleep... I'm worried that she might go into shock or something if I let her sleep. Should I?" He asked the doctor in a rush.
((You could be the doctor. XD He can say yes or no, I don't really care. XD))

The doctor grinned a bit at the boy's concern. "She should be fine. Resting is probably the best thing that she can do for right now." He told Tadao.

Tadao nodded. "Great, thanks," he said, smiling just barely, then walking quickly back to Shade's Hospital room. "You can sleep," he whispered to her, kneeling down next to her bed.

Tadao smiled softly, kissed her once more, then found a chair to sit in. He needed some sleep himself, and dozed off almost immediately.
It felt like it had barely been thirty seconds when he felt a firm hand gently shaking him awake. He blinked drowsily and looked up to see a doctor.
"Surgery's about to start," he said to Tadao.
He stood up and moved to lean against the wall. He'd stay out of the way, but he had a good view of Shade.
((Wanted to play the doctor for that one part. XD))

They brought in some tools, and gave Shade more medicine through a shot in her inner elbow.
Thats when they began to do the surgery, cutting her open to repair damaged organs. It was a terrible sight, most people would have gotten sick looking at the intestine.
They repaired her, and began to stick her back up before moving onto somethign else ion her body that needed fixing when e heart rate became slow.
It got slower, and slower.
The screen went blank. She had stopped breathing for the third time. The same cries as before as the doctors scrambled to get her heart pumping again.

Tadao, in a panic, rushed over and shoved past some of the doctors, not bothering to apologize. He acted without thinking. He started doing mouth to mouth with her, only goal to get her breathing again. That's all he wanted to do at this moment.

Shade suddenly gasped, her back arched, as she drew in air, her hands had been imoblie at her side, untill she suddenly had her arms wrapped around Tadao, clinging onto him. Her eyes were wide, they had flown open quickly. She took in another deep, ragged breath in a struggle to intake oxygen.

Tadao continued for a few more moments, until he was absolutely sure that Shade could breathe on her own. He pulled away from her gently, prying her arms away, and giving her a reassuring smile. He was panting, out of breath. He'd be perfectly fine, though.

She continued to breath in ragedly, trying to catch her breath. She relaxed her arms now, letting them drop away from Tadao. Shade gasped in air, her eyelids becoming heavy...
Darkness.
One of the doctors approached Tadao. "You should have let us handle it." She told Tadao firmly. "You promised that you would stay out of the way. You have to leave now." She said, her voice still very firm and a bit sharp at some points.

Tadao glared just slightly. "I'm the one who got her breathing again," he said. "But... fine. I'll leave."

"We could have handled it." The doctor told Tadao firmly, before returning to Shade.
The last thing she saw, was Tadao smiling at her. Before she went into a deep sleep, undisturbed besides the horrific nightmares that were trapped in her mind, haunting her as they played over and over again in her mind, and she couldn't make them go away. Watch as her father and brothers died over and over again, getting the news over and over again. Watching her uncle slap her mother while she watched unseen from her room. She had never told her mother that she had watched her uncle hit her. She was always too ashamed to say so.

Tadao glared at the doctor again, but left the room. He wanted to slam the door, but didn't, for Shade's sake.
He was surprised to find Hatori and Kira waiting outside the room.
"Hi," he said, just now realizing how exausted he felt. It showed in his voice. "Shade stopped breathing. I got her breathing again. The doctors got mad and sent me out."

"Is she okay?" Kira instantly asked Tadao, she looked very tired too. She had been biting her nails out of worry for her daughter. Kira had been upset and nervous and basically a wreck ever since she heard the news.

Tadao sighed. "Well, she's breathing easier than she was earlier, so I helped out with that, she's back to sleeping. I'm pretty sure she's as fine as she can be tonight," he replied.
Tadao noticed that Hatori kept dozing off a bit, then shaking awake where he stood. "Nii-san, why don't you sit down? You look tired. You'll pass out from exaustion if you don't get some rest."
"Mm, fine..." Hatori replied, half-walking, half-staggering over to a nearby chair that looked small compared to his tall figure, and collapsed into it.

Kira sighed and leaned against the wall, her eyes closed.
"Thank God she's alright." She said softly. "Thank you, Tadao." She felt as if she should thank the boy for helping her daughter.

"Don't thank me," Tadao said wearily, cracking a small, exausted smile. "You don't need to. You're aware that Nii-san hasn't gotten any sleep all week? Ugh, I feel so bad for yelling at him..." he yawned.
