Shade pulled out the direction and the cap, since she was only wanting highlight. All-over color would be too obvious once her hair starting growing out.

"It'll be fine. I've done my hair like this before. You just pull a little bit of my hair through the hole in the cap, and then put the dye on, and then I'll have brown highlights! It's easy!" She encouarged the girl.
