Blinking Adalina woke from fright. She blinked away the sleep from her coyotes eyes. Standing she stumbled from the hole like structure she had slept in. Her clothes were shoved into the hole on the side. Turning to look back at the hole she decided she could dig it out a bit more and make it easier to sleep in. Roomier. She flicked her tail and licked her shoulder. There was a bruise on it she knew, since it was easy to see in her human form. Right now her shoulder just ached. Looking out at the forest she sighed and lowered her head. So she drug her clothes out of the hole and shifted shape. Here she put on her clothes quickly.
The girl sat there staring out at the woods. What had the nightmare been about? She had, had a lot of them recently. Some times her parents were in them, others there were werewolves or fae. But she could never quite remember them. How that bothered her... "I'm alone..." She murmured to herself closing her eyes and breathing out. Standing she still felt tired, but she ran her fingers through her hair a few times to get it semi nice. Now she started back out and came onto the sidewalk. She didn't see anyone right now. That was good. Taking another deep breath she started down the sidewalk pondering what exactly she could do today.
Unfortunately, today was a bad day. She didn't feel like doing anyone. Being alone, all the time. Coyotes may be loners but humans aren't normally like that. The odd thing was that her coyote side seemed more social, while her human side was just... There. Still, today she felt like crawling in a hole and staying there.

((Before I post I need to know-- Is she just wandering around in the middle of the night or is it actually morning? XDDD))

Despite it being dawn, Kenshin was out for a walk. It was really warm. He wore a simple olive-green t-shirt today with khaki shorts and black sneakers. He didn't expect to find someone he knew out here, and was surprised to nearly collide with Adalina.
"Oh! Gomen nasai! Konnichiwa, Adalina-san," he said, bowing to her.

"Oh, hi." Adalina said surprised that someone else was out so early. She gave him an awkward bow, her feelings not quite gone but not as prominent as when she was completely alone. The walker was happy that she had company though. Well, the company of someone she knew. If it had been a complete strange she probably would have walked off, course a stranger probably wouldn't stop to chat either. "What are you doing out so early?" She asked, then realized that was a stupid question. If she asked that he would surely ask the same of her. So here she stood thinking of a reply to her own question.

Kenshin shrugged. "Just out walking. I woke up pretty early today. I was thinking about visiting Yuki, Kyo and Shigure. Same for you? I mean, the walking part." He laughed a bit.

Adalina thought for a moment. "Yeah." She replied not sure what else to say. Since she didn't want to say she was staying around here, or living around here. That would just arouse the question 'so where's that?'. Answering that would be harder then she wanted to go for. "So where are your siblings?" She decided that was a valid question. Not to much he could inquire further to her.

"Home, asleep," Kenshin replied.
((Meh...))

Adalina smiled slightly. She figured that was where they were but she wanted to talk; she just liked Kenshin's company. "Mind if I walk with you?" She asked biting her lip slightly.

"No, not at all," Kenshin replied simply. "You got any plans? Maybe you could come over to the house, just hang out." He shrugged.

Adalina laughed a bit to herself at the thought of her having plans. "No. No plans at all." She said simply. The girl was tempted to add 'parents don't accept me home,' in a sarcastic tone.

Kenshin nodded. "Great!"

"So... Lead the way." Adalina said. Since she had no clue which way to go. Well, she probably had a clue, but not a good one.

Kenshin nodded, taking Adalina in the direction of the Main House. "So, you're an early riser too?"

"Yeah, I suppose that's a good way to put it." Adalina replied following him. "Guess sleeping in just isn't in my biological clock." She said thoughtfully.

Kenshin chuckled.
((Shall we just skip to reaching the house?))

((Yeah sure...))
Adalina saw the main house up ahead and tilted her head slightly. "The main house is just really big." She commented. Really, she couldn't seem to get over that. Such a big house. And the family was large too. She had neither of these things. Although, she figured she would rather have a home then family. Family just wasn't important to her anymore, not that it really had been in the first place.

Kenshin nodded. "Yeah," he agreed. It really was big. He led her on the path that reached the door and entered, holding the door open for her.
((Heh, should they run into Akito on the way to the room? Or maybe later, when Adalina leaves, she can run into Aki while she's alone.))

((When she's alone. XD She'll have to explain how she was actually invited onto the territory this time. XD))
"How many people actually live here?" Adalina asked curiously.

"I've never counted," Kenshin admitted. "But it's not only the family. Maids live here too. That pretty much doubles the population. Then there's more family on the 'outside'." They arrived at the entrance to Kenshin's immediate family's part of the house and they entered. Kenshin slid the shoji door shut behind Adalina. You could hear water running, and the sound of pots and pans. Something was probably being cooked. Apparently Kenshin's mother was awake.
