"Is that you Kenshin?" Aika called from the kitchen before looking into the room. "Oh, hi. Who's this?" She asked gesturing to Adalina.
Adalina gave a slight bow. "I'm Adalina." She said.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Aika." She said bowing slightly in return.

"Ah I see. Are you hungry?" Aika asked.
Adalina was actually hungry. All though that tended to be the case a lot of the time. But instead of answering she just glanced at Kenshin.

Adalina nodded then. "Yes. Me too." She said. Ah, a home cooked meal. The most she had ever gotten out of her mother was burnt toast. Like, black to where it would break your teeth to eat it.
"Okay then. I'm making pancakes." Aika said going back into the kitchen. "The others should be up soon." She added just above her normal voice but to where she wasn't quite calling it out. Simply meaning it as a comment.
"So now we wait for breakfast?" Adalina asked.

"Not really." Adalina replied. "So your the monkey of the Zodiac?" She asked glancing at him then back at the wall, just looking around.

"Huh... I'm a Walker. I can turn into a coyote. But I don't have to be hugged or anything. Just have to will it." Adalina replied figuring it was only fair he knew what she was. Since she knew what he was, and part of his family for that matter.

"It comes from the term 'skinwalker'. Like from the Indian stories. Of course those type of 'skinwalkers' needed the pelt, or skin so to speak, of a coyote to change. And they were considered 'evil'. Not that good and evil is really a term that should be used. No one on earth is entirely evil and no one is entirely good." Perhaps this outlook was what kept her alive? Then again she always figured the reason she wasn't suicidal or completely crazy was because of her coyotes instincts. You didn't see coyotes jumping off cliffs or drowning themselves.
"But I suppose not many in Japan would have heard of 'skinwalkers' or walkers." She added glancing at him.

Kei came out of her room looking oddly wide awake. She was also already dressed. "Hi Kenshin. You know what mom's making, or are we getting the maids cooking today?" She asked. Then she noticed Adalina. "Oh, hi." She chirped.
"Hi." Adalina said waving slightly. She didn't think it was necessary to bow at the moment. "And Aika-san is making pancakes." She added answering the question.
Next was Aoi. He was a little less jumpy then his sister. Actually he came out dressed and everything, although he stumbled and bumped into Kenshin. "I'm glad I wasn't on the other side of you two." He said noticing Adalina sooner then Kei had.

Kenshin chuckled at his younger brother. "You don't need to worry too much," he told the yellow-haired boy.
Next was the other set of twins. Nadia was still in her pajamas, a light blue shirt, with the same shade of pajama pants. There were little yellow stars on the night clothes. She rubbed her eyes. "Mornin'..." she mumbled.

"Huh?" Aoi said but he didn't wait for an answer before wandering into the kitchen.
"Guess he's not much of a morning person." Aiden commented coming out of the room behind Nadia, she was also in her pajamas. Hers were simply a light blue. She hadn't really wanted a room of her own just yet. The girl wanted to be close to her sister.
"So there are two sets of twins in this house right now?" Adalina said voicing her, slightly random, thoughts.

Kenshin nodded. "Yeah."
"Kenshin-san? Is Aika-san making breakfast?" Nadia asked.
Kenshin laughed. "I thought I told you you didn't have to be so formal. Drop the honorific. And I thought she told you that you could call her 'Mom'."
"It just... feels too different," Nadia replied. She didn't want to call anybody 'Mom'.

"S'okay. But you don't have to use 'san' or any other. Just our names work." Kei said smiling.

Adalina waved good bye, also saying it and closing the door behind her. For feeling out of it this morning she sure felt a lot better now. Being around another family, a family that was whole, was just nice. Now all she had to do was... Nothing. Walking up through the garden was kind of nice. Of course now she would just go through the door and probably shift once she got back to the hole where she could stow her clothes. Then she caught Akito's scent. The leader - or rather head of house was close by.
Hopefully she wasn't in a terrible mood.
((I think Ren should come by later. XD))

The hall was empty, except for a girl.
That girl. Akito was sure that she had told her to stay away. She walked up to Adalina.
"Was I not clear when I told you that you were not welcome here? Maybe I should teach you a lesson." Her voice was low, menacing. She wasn't trying to hold up that sweet facade now. She'd rather intimidate the girl into obedience.
