Shade had been walking with Kyo. They were talking, laughing, like normal friends. The sun was setting and they were headin go ver to Kyo's house. He had bet ten bucks that he could stay up longer then her. She had taken him on his bet, claiming that he would lose.
"Oh, Kyo, I forgot someting at the house. I've gotta run and get it." She said. "Stay here. I'll be back in a sec." She said, turning and jogging back to the house.
She went inside, getting what she had forgotten. Then heading back outside. Everything had an orage glow to it from the setting sun. She stepped outside, seeing a figure behind a tree.
"Kyo!" Shade called out to him. "I though I told you to-" She paused, the man turned to her. Oh. Not Kyo.
"Shade..." He murmured to her.
"How the h*** do you know my name?!" She spat out, a bit freaked.
((He'll like, knock her out and take her to an alley way then Kyo could come to check on her when she hasn't come back yet and he starts to walk awya, thinking that he missed her then he hears yelling and stuff or something XDD))

Kyo was about to start walking, figuring he may have somehow missed her. But then he heard yelling. "Woah!" He turned and raced in the direction Shade had gone.

Lawliet drove past Kyo running and stopped hearing the yelling when he opened the window. It didn't take Lawliet long to react grabbing his gun belt that had extra bullets and two guns. He finally caught up with Kyo.
"What's going on now?" He asked in a serious voice. Well more serious then his normal monotonous voice.

"It's the good little girl." He smirked. She was a bit confused, but she didn't have much time to think, because the man grabbed her wrists roughly. She let out a yelp. He shook her roughly, before releasin her and punching her in the jaw. Her head snapped back and she groan in pain, spitting out blood.
He dragged her out to an alley. The stench was like beer and urine. It was disgusting.
"Hey! You brought the good little girl." There were some dark chuckles and smirks. Dangerous gleams...

Yelling, lots of it. Mostly from Shade. Tears soaked up her face. She was crying pretty badly right now.

"Not sure," Kyo said. "Just a lot of yelling. Shade said she was heading back to the house for some stuff, and told me to wait. Then she started yelling after about fifteen minutes..." He said. What was happening to Shade right now?

Lawliet nodded, face darkened. It reminded him of Halloween...
"We'd better find her then." He said. Lawliet stopped by the alleyway where there was obvious yelling. He took a gun out of his belt and handed it to Kyo.
"Pull this to shoot." Lawliet said flatly pointing out the trigger.

Kyo nodded. He honestly didn't know how to use a gun. Didn't you just pull the trigger...? Or were there other things he had to do? Put it in shoot...?
He'd let Lawliet do the shooting. He followed the man easily. He wondered what he'd see if he looked into the alley. He got the feeling he probably didn't want to see whatever was going on...

Lawliet sighed. He was wondering how he would get through this.
"Come on." Lawliet muttered walking into the alley way. One of guys must have had a gun cause he raised it up to shoot. Lawliet didn't hesitate. He shot one bullet hitting the guys hand knocking the gun out of the others hand.

Shade gasped when Lawliet and Kyo came through into view. Her red, tear stained face turned up to them.

Kyo watched. When he saw Shade he looked away instinctively. She was naked... Oh, crap, she'd been raped. He should have followed. He raised the gun a bit, looking back into the alleyway. He aimed it at one of the men, but his hand shook just slightly and he didn't pull on the trigger at all.

Shade covered as much as her naked body as she could. If this had been a normal situation, she would have yelled at Kyo to look away from her. But she couldn't think right now. The thought of being naked infront of Kyo probably hadn't even completely crossed her mind.

Lawliet was good with a gun... Well technically he'd been shooting since he was thirteen. Without much thought he turned and managed to shoot another guy this time in just the shoulder... Yeah just the shoulder. He would wait to judge who had been the leader and hurt Shade like this. After that the guy would not live very long. "Kyo... You have to do something." Lawliet stated bluntly.

Shade had managed to put some of her clothes on, but she remained on the ground in her curled-up position. She was shaking violentl, trying to keep herself from crying.

"Fine. Hit them with it. Make sure the safety is on so you don't shoot yourself." Lawliet said simply. Although it looked like some of the gang members had left and the others were trying too. He glanced at Shade for the first time since in the alley. He winced... Kira... They had to get Shade out of here. Revenge could wait. Most likely all these people were on file any way. He slipped over to Shade and knelt beside her still glancing warily around. No one was going to sneak up on them.
"Shade... We got to get out of here. Can you walk?" For Lawliet this was a strange voice. Softer then his normal monotone voice.

Kyo lowered the gun, a bit relieved he didn't have to kill anyone with it. He would've liked to knock the sh** out of the guys who hurt Shade though. If only he'd followed, he could have stopped her from being raped..

Shade nodded weakly.
"Yeah..." She said softly, her voice cracking. She reach out to her uncle, grabbing his shoulder and pulling herself closer to him so that she could wrap his arms around him.
"I'm so stupid! This is all my fault!" She exclaimed, crying again. She fel so violated. But it was her fault for walking back to her house in the dark. It was her fault for telling Kyo to stay. It was her fault for being so weak.
She sobbed into his shoulder, her arms around his neck. Cold chills travled up her spine, goosebumps were on her arms. She gripped his shirt, holding him closer although it hurt her body to do so.

Lawliet was unsure what to do he just put on arm on the middle of her back and patted lightly. "Calm down... Let's go back to your house." He murmured. Kira would probably freak now that him and Shade were now both bloody. He wasn't really angry at Kyo for not going with her. Just angry with the people that were really to blame. They wouldn't be out there long after this...
"Beside it's not your fault." He added monotone voice returning.

"He's right, it's my fault. I shoulda followed you. I should have known better. Sure, you can fight, but still, you're a girl, and it's dangerous to walk around in the dark, 'specially around big cities like this..." Kyo said guiltily. It was his fault this happened to her.
