"I wasn't referring to you. I meant the people that did it." Lawliet said flatly. He carefully stood up helping Shade as he went. Since he was normally at Kira's he had found that his family could be very emotional. So he would try to deal with it better then he usually did.
"But now I'm going to make everyone in my family carry pepper spray now. Make that a tazor." He added still monotonous. Even though he meant it to the fullest extent. He was quite serious about it.
((Now we wait for Em... She'll probably be on Friday. *glances at post* Then again you could probably post once more... *trails off*))

"Kyo... don't say that." She said to him. "Don't blame yourself." She told him almost sternly. She didn't want her friend to blame himself. She leaned on her uncle's shoulder. She felt tired and weak right now, but she didn't want to sleep. She was too scared to sleep. She wanted to go home and shower all that filth off of her.
She looked over at her uncle. She gave him a confused look. Then just sighed, feeling the enegry being zapped from her.

Lawliet shrugged. He was ready to get out of here. It was a disturbing place. Even more so after what had happened to Shade here. He glanced at Shade as she leaned on him. "Come on then." He said walking toward the car.

Shade really wanted Kyo to stay with her. She looked over at him.
"Stay... please?" She asked him meekly. She felt really stupid right now. She felt like a weak little girl. She was a weak little girl. She sighed again as he eyelids dropped. She was still bleeding in some places. There was a scratch on her forhead from being hit that she hadn't even noticed untill now. She touched in gently, smearing the blood on her fingers. She hadn't notice that pain...
So much pain.

Lawliet nodded. "That's fine." He examined her head for a moment. "You've got a lot of injuries." He commented bluntly. "How do you feel at the moment?" He asked fairly sure he knew the answer.

"Knowing Kira she will be very... Worried about you. She won't blame you or Kyo or anyone really. She will just be herself." Lawliet answered shrugging. He glanced at the car. "Will you be sitting in the back or front?" He asked looking back at her. Well at least she hadn't lied about how she was feeling. Probably wouldn't have worked anyway.

"I don't care... where I sit." She mumbled out. So tired. She was now worried about how she would tell her mother and Hatori.
"Should I call Hatori? He might be able to help..." She asked quietly, crawling into the car. Her teeth chattered together from fright and from the cold. What just happened back there...
She closed her eyes and prayed that this was all one big nightmare, and she would wake up at Kyo's house had he would laugh at her for falling alseep first. She knew her attempts were futile though.

"We~ll anyone we tell will probably freak out." Lawliet commented slipping into a car with a glance at Shade. She looked quite scared and fragile even. Hopefully she would be okay in a few weeks... Or months. How even long it took hopefully she would get through it all okay. He would head to Kira's as soon as Kyo was in the car too.

"I'm such an idiot. This is all my fault..." She said, believing the words to. If she would have never made that gang angry back in her 'glory days', they would have never came after her now. Of course, she would never admitt that she knew those men. The fact that they had even touched her like that made L angry enough. There would be no telling what he would do if he found out Shade knew them.

"No it's not." Lawliet said sternly wishing she would stop saying that. He glanced back at Shade then at Kyo as though telling him without speaking to tell her it was true. Then he simply turned back looking forward and starting the car starting toward Kira's house. Hopefully Kira wouldn't freak out too much. Shade didn't need that.

Lawliet glanced at Shade again a flash of sympathy in his eyes. He was slightly surprised when she used his full first name. Instead of his nickname. "Calm down. Your already stressed out enough." He said simply. After a moment of driving he stopped in front of Kira's house. He stopped the car and glanced at Shade.

"It's not your fault, Shade," Kyo said comfortingly. He meant it. He wouldn't let them know, but he still thought it was his fault and was mentally beating himself up for it.

Shade gritted her teeth.
"Why do yo two keep insisting that?" She hissed out. She looked over at the house.
"I-I just remembered... Mom's not here.. She's with Hatori. Do you want me to call her...?" She asked, her voice returning to the soft whimper.

Lawliet sighed. An unusual sound coming from him. "I suppose because we both believe it fully." He glanced at her as her temper left. "If you want to. It would probably be better if you did." He added answering her question.
