Painful Memories

[Platinum]

"You shot them, didn't you?" Kira could help but ask. Typical of Lawliet. She sighed again, her head now resting again in her hands. She didn't know what to do. She couldn't know what to do.

Shade came back down stairs, looking not as shaken up as before, but still not calm. Her damp hair was pulled back into a sleek ponytail, a few of the smaller peices had dried already and fell around her face.

She looked around, feeling as if she had walked in on a secret meeting. The same why she feels when she accidently walks into the room and Hatori and her mother are kissing. She glanced around.

Kira looked up at her daughter. She still appeared to be a mess. Around a nasy looking gash on her forehead, was a dark purple bruise that matched a blue on on her jaw. You could almost see large handprints on her arms and shoulders, dissapearing into her shirt...
"Why'd everyone get quiet...?" Shade managed to get out. They weren't as strong as they should have been though. They were weak, soft.

No reponse.

Lawliet glanced at Kira for a moment. "Not purposefully." He said answering Shade's question. Then he glanced at Kira. "What else was I supposed to do?" He asked bluntly.

[Platinum]

"I dunno! say something, da****!" She shouted, not meaning to shout at her uncle.
"Shade.. please... calm down." Kira said softly, trying to keep from Shade from exploding.

[LoneWolf]

Lawliet didn't flinch but he turned back to look at Shade. "I did. Was there something else you needed me to say or explain? Kira was just drawing conclusion that I shot some one and I asked her what else I was suppose to do." He explained calmly. For a brief moment he wondered if his calm tone would annoy her.

[Platinum]

Shade glared at him. "Why are you all so calm!?" She demanded. She didn't understand why they were all just standing around like idiots while the pressure inside of her was building. I mean, they must be upset too, but they didn't seem upset. Even Kyo looked calm at this moment. Knowing him, he should probably be more upset then her.

[Akkii]

Kyo seemed to be thinking, which is probably why he wasn't cussing under his breath, and... not-so-under-his-breath. He was still blaming himself for what happened to Shade.

And Hatori wasn't sure what he could do to help the situation so he was staying quiet.

Shade still had a glare on her face, she watched everyone in the room.

Kira walked over to her daughter cautiously. "Shade..." She said gently. Shade looked away. Kira understood what Shade was going through. Shade felt like she was dirty in some ways now. Kira touched her daughters arm and Shade looked over at her mother. Kira was only a little bit taller then Shade, but it would be hard to tell. Kira gently wrapped her arms around Shade, which seemed to calm Shade down a bit.
