Shigure laughed again. "Ahaha! I sleep at different times than most people do. I just woke up a few hours ago," He explained.
Nadia nodded.
Shigure looked a little closer, bending down a bit. He noticed that the girls looked kind of beaten up, and they'd been crying a lot. Despite himself, some concern snuck into his eyes.
"You two okay? You look hurt..." he said, sounding a bit more serious now.
Nadia didn't answer.

Aidan glanced at Nadia. She was adverse to answering and her sister was usually fairly talkative. But since she didn't answer Aidan would have to say something... Maybe."Er... We're fine." She murmured while averting her eyes pretending to take interest in something else.

Shigure offered them his hands. "Come on, come with me to your house. You should at least have a place to stay for the night, it's chilly," He suggested.
Nadia flinched away from Shigure's hand.
"One of the signs of physical abuse..." Shigure murmered under his breath, too quiet for the girls to hear.
"Oh, by the way, I'm Shigure Sohma. Do you girls mind telling me your names?" He asked.
Nadia glanced at Aidan. This man seemed safe to talk to... She'd get Aidan's opinion before she agreed to anything the man named Shigure offered, though.

Aidan had flinched slightly but not as much. She glanced at her sister and nodded."I'm Aidan... This is my sister Nadia." Aidan murmured still not exactly looking up at him. She didn't like to feel so short. She never added her last name though...

Shigure nodded.
Nadia slowly took the man's hand.
"I-I guess we'll go. We'll only stay overnight, though," She said timidly.
He smiled at the girls. "Don't worry, you can leave tomorrow if you wish. You don't want to wander the streets at night though. It can be pretty scary."

Aidan glanced warily at her sister. But she walked with her sister anyway. Aidan just hoped that this man was as nice as he seemed."Could... you show us the Shelter in the morning?" Aidan asked feeling that it should be okay to go ahead and ask.

"Runaway shelter? Sure," Shigure nodded.
"But you have to at least stay for breakfast. It'll be entertaining. You'll get to see my younger cousins arguing," He said, laughing a bit. "It's quite amusing at times. Oh, and you'll like Tohru, the girl who lives at our house."

Shigure nodded and smiled at the girls, then started walking.

Soon they reached his house in the middle of the forest. It was rather big. He probably had a lot of money. But at the same time it looked very nice, a comfy house. Shigure opened the door for Nadia and Aiden and they went in.
"Do you two mind sleeping in the living room tonight? I've got furniture you could use. My cousins would just be mad at me if I woke up Tohru." Shigure laughed light-heartedly.
"I don't mind," Nadia said, glancing at her sister to see if she would mind.

Aidan shook her head no as she looked at the house. It was further into the woods which was nice and a big house. She had wondered vaguely if they would be bother some by staying the night. But now that she saw the house she figured that there must be plenty of room.
Aidan stayed silent as they approached the house. There didn't seem to be anything she needed to say anyway.

Shigure led the girls into the living room.
"You two can share the couch, or you two can use the reclining chairs," He pointed to the furniture.
"Mm, wanna share the couch, Aidan?" She asked.
"Be right back," Shigure told them, leaving the room to get some blankets.
Nadia looked at her twin.
"This place is awfully pretty!" She said.

"Mmhm. I like all the trees surrounding the house." Aidan said with a nod."I don't mind where I sleep. I'll sleep on the floor if I have to."In a quieter voice she added."As long as we don't have to stay at the other house." She finished with slight sigh. Aidan examined the living room with curiosity.

Nadia nodded. "That Shigure guy is really nice too. Wonder if his cousins and Tohru are as nice," She said.
"And let's just use the couch. It's pretty big."
The hall light was flicked on from upstairs. Soon after you could hear... somebody... stumbling around upstairs.
"Shigure-san..." A sleep girl's voice.
Nadia couldn't make out exactly what the girl was saying from upstairs, but she could hear the voice.
"Wonder if that's Tohru?" she said.

"Maybe." Aidan said as she glanced over at the stair case. She was curious and wanted to meet the others. She wondered if they were as nice as Shigure.

((LOL it's Tohru. Yuki would never add -san to Shigure's name. She was just sleeping with her door open and Shigure turned on the light, so... XD))
Shigure came back down. He stopped at the bottom of the stairs and looked back up. "Tohru, go back to bed, it's not morning!" He said with a laugh.
"Okay Shigure-san..." Tohru mumbled sleepily.
Nadia smiled just a bit. "Guess that was Tohru," She said to her sister. Shigure walked into the living room. "Okay girls, lay down. Got some blankets here for you two to use," He said, setting them on the couch.

Nadia climbed onto the couch, then laid out the blankets for her and her sisters.
" 'Kay, I'm gonna go to my room now. Have a good sleep!" He told them, going upstairs.

Aidan rolled over on the couch and accidentally fell off the side pulling the blankets off of the couch. She landed with a thump and an 'ouch.' Aidan sat up and rubbed her eyes. It took her a second to realize where her and her sister were. She looked over at her sister to see if Nadia was awake yet.

Nadia woke up when she felt Aidan roll out of bed. She sat up. She also took a while to remember where she was.
"I smell pancakes..." She murmered, looking in the direction of the kitchen. She heard cheerful humming.
A girl with brown hair poked her head in. "Oh! You're awake! Good morning. Nadia and Aiden right? Which one's which?" She laughed.
"I'm Tohru Honda, by the way!"
Nadia nodded. "I'm Nadia, that's Aiden," she explained. A bit dazed by how cheerful the lady was.

Aidan was surprised by the girl and probably would have fallen off the couch if she wasn't already on the floor."Er... Hi." She murmured a bit sleepily. She wasn't much of a morning person.
