"What are you two doing just sitting there and crying?! Go bury it and then go to your rooms!" Kaito said.
Nadia's lip trembled. She picked up the body of her now dead baby brother. Well.,.. at least now he was safe. She wasn't going to sob in front of her father. Tears were trickling down her face, though. She helped her sister to her feet.

Aidan wiped the tears away angry at her father for being what he was. A terrible drunk and abusive. She walked out with her sister and passed brother. She wasn't going to cry any more. Her brother was safe from the abuse of her father. Probably with mom in heaven now. With shaking hands she managed to find a shovel. But where would her brother most like to be buried?
"Where?" Was all Aidan asked her sister. She was afraid if she spoke more she may start crying.

Nadia was still crying, tears quickly running down her cheeks. "Mama's flower beds," She said, pointing at the flower beds, a place where Joel played often. They took care of the flower beds, because they'd had a lot of good memories with their mother there. She swallowed hard, trying not to cry.

Aidan nodded and walked over. She had a blank expression even though her eyes showed sadness. She had managed to keep herself from crying but her hands were shaking. She stopped at the flower bed. She tightened her grip on the shovel to where her knuckles turned white.
"We can't stay here." Aidan murmured to her sister.

"No. We need to run away. Tonight?" Nadia asked. She took the shovel from her sister, worried that her knuckles may just break open, she was holding the shovel so tightly.
-Let's skip the burial XP-
After about thirty minutes they'd finished. Nadia had been crying the entire time, unable to stop. By then the pizza had probably gotten there and their father was probably eating, lounging in his room.
She picked two flowers and did as best as she could to make a cross, then set it on the patch of dirt their baby brother was under.
"Let's... go into our room. We can get packed..." Nadia said quietly. She'd been kneeling by Joel's grave shen she'd made the flower cross, now she stood up.

Aidan nodded. Now she just started toward the house. It was hard trying not to cry. Some how she made it. She took a deep breath then let it out."Won't be to much to pack..." She murmured to her sister before going into the house.

"No," Nadia agreed. "There won't... But we prolly won't be able to take all of it, even if there isn't much..." She walked inside with her twin, and then into their room.

Aidan simply followed and started to pack a few things into a backpack that they had lying around. Since they didn't have an actual suit case.
"Where should we go?" She asked in a whisper.

"Don't know. I think we passed a runaway shelter once... Maybe we could try to find that place..." Nadia suggested as she emptied her own school backpack that she'd had sine first grade. She put some warm clothes in it. It was still cold out...
"Wonder if we could fit our pillows in her..." She said, partly to herself. She grabbed a blanket that her mother had mad for them and stuffed it into the backpack.

"A small pillow maybe..." Aidan said as she shuffled around the room to see if she could find anything else she needed to pack. She glanced around and tossed a few more things they may need into her bag."But the shelter may be our best bet... Of course we have to get out of the country." Aidan commented.

"Yeah," Nadia nodded. She slung her own backpack over her shoulder. "Should we climb out the window, just in case Dad's in the tv room...?" It was a one-story house, so it would be safe.

Aidan glanced at their window and nodded."Yeah probably should." She said before opening the window. Aidan slipped out slowing landing on her feet out side. She stumbled a bit before regaining her balance."Okay." She whispered. This would be okay. They could get out of here."Come on." She said to Nadia.

Nadia held up her hand, signaling for her sister to wait, and looked around the room one more time, picking up a flashlight, then climbing out the window after Aidan.
"Okay, we'll make a run for it. After we can't see the house anymore, we'll turn on the flashlight," She whispered, pointing in the direction of the city.

Aidan nodded and started forward with her sister. She stopped for a moment to take a breath and make sure Nadia was close."I just hope dad has fallen asleep or something." She commented.

The twins reached the city, and though they were out of breath, they kept running. Nadia didn't notice the man up ahead and almost ran into his legs. She skidded to a halt, stumbling back.
Shigure chuckled good-naturedly. "Well, what do we have here? Two adorable little girls!" He said.
"What are you doing out here so late at night?" He asked the girls.
Nadia was silent, looking up at the man fearfully.

"Er... Nothing." Aidan answered hesitantly not really wanting to give any thing away right now. Especially to a stranger. A male stranger at that. She glanced at her sister and stepped over to stand beside Nadia."What are you doing out so late?" She countered even though he could have a hundred excuses as to why.
