Full moon. The moon was beging to come up on this summer night. Tadao and taken Lee. It was kinda like their routine. Full moon came, the house would be empty, for their own protection. She never broke anything during the full moon, because she could control herself when no one was around.

I linger in the doorway
Of alarm clocks screaming
Monsters calling my name

Shade whimpered, hding ina cornor, holding her head. Transforming was painful and long. More painful for her because she always tried to fight it of. She didn't want someone else in her head. She didn't want to bt a monster. She wanted to be normal. Human.

In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby (flowers)
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me (flowers)

Shade let out a mangled cry as she felt her nails turn into dark claws and curl over. She had taken off her clothes, so she wouldn't rip her clothes during transformation. She shuddered, feeling her spine change shape, causing her to bend over more. She whimpered loudly and tried to fight the feeling of her face narrowing and sprouting into a muzzle. She let out a mangled cry.

With this rampant chaos - your reality
I know well what lies beyond my sleeping refuge
The nightmare I built my own world to escape

Shade fought the urge to claw the wall with her new talons.

But she froze when she heard a knock at the door.

Shade let out a low growl. The scent was familar, but it was taking a while to put a finger on who it was. Sohma... Like... ginger and cinnamon.

And cat.

Shade hid further into the cornor. No, oh no. He couldn't see her like this. He wouldn't know what to think. She hadn't told him about her... new form. He would freak out, and worse, she might hurt him.

So since she wasn't thinking strait, she barked out.
"Go away!" He voice sounded rough and mutated. She was prayed he'd think she had a bad cough. She let out another low growl, it was in her insticts and she couldn't help it.

Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming
Cannot cease for the fear of silent nights
Oh, how I long for the deep sleep dreaming
The goddess of imaginary light

Shade huddled in the corner, praying that nothing would happen to Kyo. She hoped he would be smart and leave. She let out another cry as she felt her body go through a sickening change. He bones snapped at the joints as they changed themselves. It felt like he body was being ripped apart on the inside then being put back together. She tried harder then ever to stop it, but that just amde it more painful. She let out another strangled cry, also hopping that sounded like a cough.

Please, Kyo, stay away...

Kyo had just been here to hang out, visit. But... was Shade okay?

"Shade? I'm coming in," he said after her demand to leave and her cries. He could tell the difference between a cough and pain. He opened the door, and stepped in.

Holy crap, she was a wolf. There was no other explanation, considering he didn't see Shade herself in the room. He couldn't help but be a little scared, who wouldn't be? But it's not like he was going to run out because of a bit of fear. He**, he turned into something more terrifying than a wolf.

[Platinum]

Shade snarled Kyo, seeing that she couldn't talk anymore. She lifted her lips, showing large white fangs. The wolf backed up against the corner, the fur between her shoulders spiking up and her tail between her legs. If Kyo came any closer, she would surely bite the teen. She snapped her jaws at him and growled, the silver collar of fure around her neck spiked up too. The wolf girl snarled at Kyo again. She had fully changed now, and she was hungry.
She took a step towards Kyo and stared at him with her silver eyes, running a pink tounge over her nose.

[Akkii]

"Sh*t," Kyo cursed under his breath. He thought that maybe he should leave for his own protection, visit later. But he knew he'd feel guilty for leaving her like that. He leaned against the door, ready to open and run, call Hatori for help or something if he had to. Hatori was a vampire now and would be able to keep Shade back, right?

[Platinum]

The wolf stopped coming forward, but she didn't quit snarling. She snapped her jaws at him again before catching his eye, ready to battle dominance with him. Not that Kyo would know what she was doing. But she was a wolf right now, and thus had a mind like a wild animal. A very big and strong wild animal...

[Akkii]

Most people knew by now that when an animal looked you in the eye, they were challenging you. Kyo didn't quite understand what she was doing at first, but then realized she was trying at dominance. He debated whether it would be better to try and stare her down or look away... As he debated this, he continued to watch her eyes. Crap, what to do?

[Platinum]

Shade sat down, she would probably past Kyo's waist sitting down. She licked her muzzle again and her silver eyes still were trained on Kyo. She would still there like that all night if she had too.

The something clicked in her primitive mind.
Kyo, male. Her, female. Kyo is more dominant. But she still did not look away. She still stared at the boy despite the fact her insticts were against it.

[Akkii]

For now, staring was working. He kept like that. Of course, he blinked now and then, but this wasn't like a staring contest where you couldn't blink. It was just to see who would look away first. Even cats had challenges like this sometimes.

He remained calm, wondering if he should speak. Could she understand english in this state?

Kyo was kinda amazed that he wasn't as scared as he'd been when he entered. He was still wary, though.

[Platinum]

Shade gently stretched out her front paws so she could rest her head on them, but he body was still tense, like she was ready to spring at any moment. She let out a low growl at Kyo.

Then looked away.

She had admitted submission to Kyo, before pretty much crawling backwards to her corner and licked one black paw, watching Kyo warily out of the corner of her eye.

[Akkii]

Kyo was a little more relaxed now. He kept himself alert, of course.

"Good..." he mumbled. He still watched her, just in case.

"Umm..." he felt like an idiot, but said what he wanted to anyway. "Shade? If you can understand what I'm saying... uh, bark?" He really felt stupid, and it came out more like a question. He wondered if she would understand.

((XD That was funny, but it seemed like something Kyo would try.))

[Platinum]

Shade made a noise and tilted her head at him. She ran the words through her head again. Her human part recognized them, and the words meant something.

Shade parted her jaws and let out a low but soft bark, peering at Kyo curiously. She switched her fluffy tail from side to side, it made a soft sound on the hard-wood floor. She was beging to understand the male human that smelled like spices

[Akkii]

Wow, had she actually understood? He wondered if in her wolf form she remembered anything of her human life.

"Do you know who I am? Uh bark again if you do..."

He really felt like an idiot.

[Platinum]

Cat. Spice cat talking. Spice. Spice cat. Cat spice.

Kyo. Kyo is cat.

Shade let out another bark, wagging her tail at him, her pink tounge lolling out of her mouth to pant. She was too furry, and it was too hot that night. She rolled over on her side, half-way showing Kyo more submission.

[Akkii]

Kyo smirked a bit. "Wow. I'm holding a conversation with a wolf," he said, pretty much relaxed now. He wasn't scared, he didn't think she'd attack him. His tone had been joking, and he smiled at her. "Huh, what now, I wonder."

[Platinum]

Shade went back over on her stomach and half-scooted, half-crawled to Kyo, nuding his hand with her cold, wet nose. She ran her tongue over it and looked up expectantly at Kyo, like a dog wanting to be pet.

[Akkii]

Kyo crouched down so he wouldn't have to bend over too much. This was weird.

"Strange, one of my best friends is a dog. Well, a wolf, but whatever." He chuckled a bit and pet her. Who knew he'd be so easy-going about this?
He tended to be calmer around Shade. That is, when they weren't competing. He started scratching behind the ears, wondering if she liked that... this felt strange...

[Platinum]

Shade tilted her head and slowly swished her tail, liking the feel of his big hands through her fur. She let out a bark that was like a chuckle almost. Right now, she wasn't concerned that she had just admitted to Kyo that he was dominate, although when she turned back human infront of Kyo, she was sure she would. She licked his hand gently again.

[Akkii]

Kyo laughed a little. "What to talk about now...? Hmm... Akito made this weird announcement the other day. Apparently he's actually a woman. Weird. And she's pregnant. And engaged to some guy, now. It's weird. Because a few years ago, I was in a fight with hi--her. And I'd lifted her up by the collar of her yukata. Crazy, can't believe I was that tough on a girl." He laughed a bit.

[Platinum]

Shade let out a barking laugh. Then gave Kyo a look with her eyes that said, 'I already knew.' Then a a grin that was just about as sheepish as a wolf could get. She hoped Kyo would understand her message. That she already knew Akito was female. She nudged Kyo's hand again. But no matter what, Shade would not make eye-contact or be too pressureing. Although him petting her did help the pain of her transformation. Her back and neck always hurt after transforming. And surprisingly, Kyo wasn't making her go crazy. It seemed she had better control then she though. His voice was actually soothing.

[Akkii]

Kyo read the expression.

"Seriously? You knew?" He asked. He was shocked, and his eyes were wide. "Have you known for a long time? Or did you learn recently?"
