Shade made a shrugged montion with her shoulders and pointed to a discarded white baby sock on the floor and then said with her eyes, 'before'. Before she got pregnant was he reply, although this one was probably much more difficult to read. She would just have to tell him when she got human again. Shade scooted closer to him and rested her head on his knee with a soft dog sigh. She turned it slightly and licked his hand, happy that he hadn't ran away, or became disgusted because she turned into a gaint wolf every full-moon and couldn't help it.
((I was thinking that Shade turns back later and she can tell him about how she became how she was, then since it's like, almost day-light anyways, he just stays there, then later she goes and gets Lee and they walk around and then we can go to out other idea.))

"Sorry, I didn't get that one," Kyo said. He yawned. "Jeez, what time is it?" There wasn't clock in the room, but he figured it was almost sunrise. Already!
"Mind if I just stay here tonight?"
Usually he'd be grossed out if he got licked like that, but it was probably partially instinct or something. Right now he just shrugged it off. He ruffled the fur on her head.

Shade leaned into his hand before dog-shrugging again, which was just sticking out her shoulder blades. It was a 'I don't care.' She got up and shook her fur. She knew she would be changing back soon. She started to pad towards her room... well, actually it was Tadao's room but it was her's when he wasn't here. She nearly colapsed on the way there and le tout a whiper. Yup, there it goes. There were a few sickening cracks as her bones got ready to be in human-position again. She got up and continued to pad towards there

"Wait, you all right, Shade?" Kyo asked. He'd heard her whimper, and the cracks. He stood up and followed her. Then he caught on. She was heading to another room... hers or Tadao's. Was she about to change back? He stopped following, but was still worried.

Shade looked back behind her and whimpered again. There were loud snaps down her spine as he turned back into a more-human like position. She walked into the room, and nudged the door shut.
Minutes passed and the whimpering turned slowly into more human sounds. It was pitiful, really. It sounded like Shade was in a lot of pain, but was trying not to let it show.
Once she un-curled herself from the ball she had created on the floor, she looked out one of Tadao's shirts and just wore it as a night grown-type-thing. She could go back home and change later, when there was more daylight outside.
She stepped out of the room, looking tired and ruffled. Her hair wasn't too terribly bad, but it could probably use a combing. She went back to Kyo, but didn't look him in the eye, just stared at his shoulder.
"Sorry you had to see and hear that." She murmured to the guy she pretty much thought of as her brother.

"No problem, so long as you're all right," Kyo replied, frowning a little. He considered her a sister. That, and basically his best friend.

Shade shrugged. "I don't really know. I feel fine now." She said, still look at his shoulder. He was more dominante then she was, so she should keep her head down and not look him in the eye.
"It only hurts when I'm a wolf and when I'm changing." She said to him. She chewed on her lip. "Eh, you deserve an explination, don't you?" She asked, looking up once, but one for a second before she corrected herself and looked down.

"Yeah, I'd really like an explanation... and by the way, it's safe for you to look me in the eye. I'm not gonna kill you or anything," Kyo said with a laugh. He noticed how she still looked down.

Shade blushed but looked up, looking into Kyo's red eyes with some difficultly because her whole body screamed 'Not Right! Wrong!'.
"I'm a werewolf, Kyo. Not like a Crystal werewolf, obviously, because I'm affected by the moon. But what happened was that I got attacked by some other wolf one night, and according to Tadao because I can't really remember, he very literally ate me. And you have to be half-dead before you change, so yeah." She shrugged. "I almost died, but instead I turned into a monster!" She said with sarcastic enthusiasm.

"I'd rather you turned into a werewolf than died," Kyo admitted. "I guess that might sound selfish, but it would sound really bad if I said that I wish you'd died, huh?" He laughed a little.
"And besides, I'm more of a monster than that. I turn into something scarier than a wolf." Of course, he didn't sound happy when he said this, who would? To be rejected, to look like a monster that many feared, to lose your mother to that fear of you... who would want that? "Anyway, that might be the reason I wasn't as scared as a lot of other people were."

Shade laughed at the first part. "Guess I can understand how you feel now." She grimaced. "Although I do wish I had a braclet to control mine. If I get mad, and, of corse on full moons I change." She sighed. "Glad you didn't run though, probably would have chased after you and killed you. You know, hunting instints." She said with a smirk. She ran her hand through her messy hair.
"If you're tired, you can sleep. You did stay up all night with me." She said to him.

"Nahh..." Kyo replied. "I'll sleep later. I guess having a bracelet for yours would be nice, huh? And... that's sorta was I was afraid of. I figured you might do that, so I didn't run. Plus, I would've felt guilty for just leaving you alone like that. So, where do Tadao and Lee go while you're like this?" He'd noticed that the two weren't here.

"Hatori's house. I practicly have to drag Tadao there." Shade said with a smirk. "I ussually then take Lee for the rest of the day afterwards." She said to him. "And just, walk around." She said.
"Maybe you could... come with us?" She asked hopefully, feeling a little embarrased about asking him. Why would he want to walk around with a mother and a baby?

"Hah... uh, sure. I guess, as the 'godfather' I should get to know Lee, right?" Kyo didn't think he deserved to be the godfather. It felt kind of weird.

Shade smiled at him.
"Thanks. Lee wouldn't want a more awesome godfather." She said with her lopsided grin that was sickeningly adorable to her, like the nickname that she had been given, Shadie.
"We should go over to Hatori's now, if we actually want to go on the walk before it gets too hot." She suggested to Kyo.

Kyo nodded. "Okay. And I disagree. I'm not an 'awesome godfather'." He smiled at his friend as he denied what she said. He stood up, and went through the door, leaving it open for her. He wasn't so much of a gentleman that he'd hold it!
((XD I can't see him holding a door open for ANYBODY. XD))

Shade smirked at him.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever." She said, not believeing him. She walked along side Kyo to Hatori's house. Once there, she changed into a pair of jean shorts and a black and red stripped tanktop, then picked up Lee while slipping on a pair of shoes.

Kyo grinned and watched Lee a little curiously. He was a cute baby.
And he'll never admit that he'd just thought that.
"Hey, mind if I hold Lee?" He requested as they exited Hatori's house with Lee.

"Sure." Shade said, gently handing the baby to Kyo. Lee's hair had grown longer, and Shade swore that she saw some green in his eyes.

"He really does look a lot like you," Kyo pointed out, holding the child a little curiously. He'd never held a baby before... excluding when Lee had first been born, of course.
"Heh, still a little dark," he said with a laugh. "It's nice and cool though."
((Kyo's dad comes in next post? Since they're out walking around now.))
