Just inside the Sohma main house wall walked a strange site. Especially for private property. Animals got in every once in a while, but this coyote tended to climb trees. Or at least jump on the low branches and make her way by jumping. It was actually easier then when she was in her second nature. Really this form was more natural. She didn't feel as exposed in her coyote form. As a human she felt vulnerable. Weaker for that matter. Although she tended to be fairly dominant she still didn't like people, or vampires, werewolves, fae, shifters or any other creature that could take the form of a human. Still, humans were at the bottom of her list. The others were just above them. But she had no favorites and showed no particular liking of any species of anything. Maybe that was just her parents, more so her mother, freaking out about the whole 'turning into a coyote' thing.
That's why she was out here and not in school or at home or whatever 'normal' people did. Then again, plenty of Weres, fae, and the like went into schools and such. Which is just fine and dandy but frankly she hated the thought of being stuck in a classroom with people for more then ten seconds. Not that she was claustrophobic or anything. Once again, she just didn't like people. Period.
She let out a large yawn and stopped. Turning she lifted her maw to the air and took in a deep breath with her nose taking in the scents. Vampire. Magic. Werewolf. Shifters. This place was a magic goldmine. She even managed to catch the slightest bit of fae. Where that came from she did not know. Although the shifter was entwined with the magic scent. It was a strange scent though. But the vampire seemed the strongest. She turned fully and padded quietly through the bushes and stepped out just a bit to examine the garden. Not in time to realize she wasn't alone...
((It was random. XD Thought I would introduce her to a Sohma. I can't remember what we decided about the curse... Whether f a hug from a walker female would effect, say, Yuki or one of the male Zodiac. XD))

((Before I post, what the heck is the character's name? It doesn't mention her name once in here...))

((Haha, it gives me confusion. XD And yes, if a female of any sort (so long as she's in human form) would cause a cursed Sohma boy to change. Hmmm... who shall I bring in? Haru...?))
Hatsuharu was easily ignoring Momiji, who was trailing behind him, babbling about Temprence, a girl from school he'd met recently. And if not ignoring, he was easily tolerating the chatter.
"She's so pretty, and so nice, and so much fun!" Momiji concluded.
"That's great, squirt. Calm down, would you? The first thousand sentences were all merged together into one long word. Didja even breathe?" Hatsuharu chuckled, smirking. Though Momiji was behind the white-and-black-haired boy, he could tell the expression of the ox.
"I don't think so!" Momiji chirped, skipping so he was beside Hatsuharu. The blonde boy looked up, golden locks of curly hair falling into his molten chocolate, childish eyes. He just happened to notice the coyote up in the trees.
"Hey, Haru! Look at that! It's a dog!" He pointed up at Adalina, and Hatsuharu halted a few steps ahead of the shorter boy, looking up as well. "Does the inu think it's a neko?" Momiji added, in a teasing voice toward the coyote.
"Well, what d'ya know? What's a coyote doing here?" Hatsuharu looked up, the curiosity not obvious behind his dark, seemingly monotonous eyes.

Adalina snorted at being called a dog. Then the teasing amused her. At least she was wearing her collar so she wouldn't be mistaken for being to wild an animal. She had originally wanted a red collar but hunters orange was a lot brighter and would be more noticeable. Although she wanted to know what cat like thing she had been doing. She was under bushes. Padding out of the bushes she sat down and tilted her head, watching the two intently.
These two held magic. The strange magic of a sort of shifter. It was strange. The black and white headed boys scent of shifter leaned toward ox or a cow like scent. While the smaller blond boys scent was rabbity. Yum. She hadn't eaten in a while and the rabbit scent made her want to hunt. If she was a normal girl she would have been stuck in the runaway shelter. But she was not normal obviously. Well, maybe not to these people. Ah, but the magic was really interesting. She stood back up to give a small throat noise, closest you could get to a bark. Since coyotes can't bark.

((You'd said she was climbing trees. So Momiji said she was acting like a cat... XD))
"I wish Gure-san were here!" Momiji said. "He'd know what the dog is saying."
"Coyote, Momiji," Hatsuharu corrected. Momiji laughed. "Yeah, yeah. Anyway, hello, Coyote-san! What are you doing here?" He grinned at Adalina, laughter in his voice, making his eyes dance happily.

((No... I just mentioned that she could. XD))
Now why was this boy talking to her so loudly? It was kind of odd to her. Most of the time people chased her off. Or shot at her... Although she doubted these two even knew how to shoot a gun. That was a reassuring thought. But she couldn't exactly answer the boys question at this moment. Not that she planned to turn back any time soon. So instead of running off she padded forward and tentatively sniffed the air around Momiji. Well, it wasn't fae magic and not quite shifter. She pulled back and sneezed down at the ground.
Magic has the ability to make me sneeze. She thought glancing up at the two. If she was a human even if she had met them in the city she wouldn't have went up to them. She just felt safer as a coyote, at least socially. Maybe it was just the fact that she could expect how to be treated as an animal. With humans and such it was so hard to tell what the person was going to think of you.

"Bless you!" Momiji said to the coyote with a laugh. He bent down slightly, and slowly tried petting her head, stopping after a little bit. "Are you cursed too, or are you a normal coyote?" He asked. He didn't expect an answer, of course. Since she hadn't spoken yet.
"Momiji," Haru said in an almost warning voice when he asked the question.
"Come on, Haru, if she's just a regular coyote she won't tell anyone. And if she's like us, she won't tell anyone." He turned back to Adalina. "Isn't that right, Coyote-san?"

Adalina blinked. Cursed? Well as far as her parents thought she was cursed. But she liked being a walker in a way. She could always get away. So that must be where the magic came from. Also it seemed like a secret from the sound of things. But the scents... If he thought she was a part of the curse maybe they turned into animals? Still, how was that a curse? Were they werewolves that had eaten recently? That didn't seem likely. The rabbit boy, Momiji, smelled to rabbit to just have touched a rabbit. Like the ox or cow teen smelled to close to an ox or cow.
She would have barked but instead she turned and sniffed Momiji's hand. With a quick lick of Momiji's fingers she then bowed her head low but to where she could still watch them. She remembered how she would tease families with how she acted. Such as when they would pretend to throw a ball for her to catch. She wouldn't even glance at where they threw it. Just stare at them looking dubious till they laughed a threw it for real. That was another thing she liked about her coyote form. It was a lot easier to play fetch. Plus all the fun she had was in coyote form. Although she had been taken to the pound twice where she had simply waited till night where there wasn't anyone around and shifted back and opened her cage and all that.

Momiji beamed when the coyote licked his fingers.
"Hee! I like you!" He laughed.
"I'm surprised she's not attacking you, you probably smell like a rabbit," Hatsuharu said teasingly.

Adalina gave Hatsuharu a look to say 'and you smell like a cow.' Still, the only people she would attack would be people that attacked her first. Unless they were really asking for it of course. She wondered why they turned into a rabbit and an ox, or cow. What was the point of those animals?
The coyote looked over at the building her eyes pointed towards it. There were more people in there. But everything was so quiet. It was strange but calm. A little eerie. If she could catch the scent from a few more of the 'cursed' maybe she could figure out what kind of curse it was.
((Bring in another! XD I don't have anymore Sohma's... XD Myra was my only Sohma not counting Melody(or Melony, I can't remember) who was a cat. XD So you bring in another? Haha, Akito. Adalina could be her friend like on MTB. LoL.))

((Okay. Doggy time! XDDD I think it would be funny if she realized she felt DRAWN to him. Him being Gure-kun. XD))
Shigure strode out. He'd headed over to annoy Akito and Devon again, but Devon hadn't been there, so he had just settled for Akito. Well... now he had a bruise on his left cheek. He chuckled to himself as he thought on the meeting, but didn't really let the thought stay in his mind for long. He smiled to himself when he saw Momiji and Hatsuharu. And a Coyote. Ooh, this would be fun. He headed over to the two boys, and Adalina.
"Why, hey there," he said to them.
"Yoooo.... Sensei..." Haru said in a sort of monotone voice. He was deliberately talking slowly.
"Hi, Shigure!" Momiji said with a laugh. "Can you talk to Coyotes?"
"I can understand dogs 'n' wolves," Shigure said simply, smirking. "Coyotes? Probably."

Adalina tilted her head. A dog. Dog, rabbit, ox. Two equaled meals the other equaled coyotes cousin in the animal kingdom. She was clueless. Really she wanted to ask. Along with all this magic she felt some other type of magic. It was from the dog, probably the dogs curse. Strange how she felt drawn to him. With another man coming over she realized that there were three guys here. Didn't this house have any females? Not that it mattered. Since she was rude around the females and tense around males. Why it was like this, she didn't exactly know. She flicked her left ear slightly. So the dog could understand wolves and dogs. He could probably understand her. But why bother making noises? Most animals spoke with body language. Come to think of that.
She looked up to stare this Shigure in the eyes. Her gaze was intense but she didn't feel lower then him in the hierarchy. Actually she was pretty sure this wasn't even his territory. To a human her gaze would be laughable. She blinked once but was still watching Shigure.
((Dominance Contest! XD She's probably less dominant though...))

Shigure laughed when she started staring, catching on. He stared back.
"What're you doing?" Momiji asked.
"Dominance contest."
"Go sensei..." Haru said flatly. Momiji laughed at his cousin.
((Meheh. Later I might bring Aki out.))

Staring for a while longer her instincts were trying to back down. Back down to a dog! If he had been a wolf she wouldn't have tried it period. But this was a dog. And she was pretty sure he wasn't very big. Probably about her size. Although she was a little skinny from not eating much.
Finally she glanced down with an exasperated sigh. He had better be a big dog when he shifted. Like Wolf big. Not just her size. She almost stuck out her tongue, and that was looking to be a mighty nice insult. Since she couldn't exactly say anything. She did end up opening her mouth and sticking her tongue out slightly. It was a very human action she realized. Also childish so she gave another sigh and looked up at the sky.

Shigure let out a belly laugh. "Ahaha! She stuck her tongue out at me. What an un-animal thing to do. You sure you can't turn into a human, Miss Coyote?" He smirked at her while his cousins watched him speak to the coyote.

She may have changed, but she didn't have clothes. Well at least not at the moment. The clothes she had brought were off hidden. Adalina had learned after meeting up with those werewolves it would be best to not carry clothes with her. Not that she did all the time. It was a little harder to climb while carrying clothes.
So she just gave Shigure a look that said 'well, what do you think?' She had easily mastered the looks and etiquette of the animal world. Or at least dog/wolf/coyote/vulpine world. Yes, she had met up with foxes before. They were interesting creatures really. Although their language has cat influence. Since they were like cats and coyotes or wolves.

"Haha, I've never met someone who could change into a coyote before! Want me to find you some clothes?" Shigure chuckled.
"Oooh! I could do it, I could do it!" Momiji said with a laugh.

Momiji's voice surprised her causing her to jump back a bit. But when she realized that it had just been the boy she settled. Glancing back at Shigure she gave a nod. Actually, she had never met anyone that could turn into a cow, rabbit, or dog either. Since the three seemed nice enough that's why she figured it couldn't hurt to be a human around them. She was just an anti-social human she supposed. So when she turned to her first nature, at least she called it her first because it was more comfortable, her personality changed a bit, it relaxed so to speak.

"I'm on it!" Momiji said, running and getting clothes. He was fast, just like a rabbit. He was back before long, setting a t-shirt and jeans that would hopefully fit her before her.
"You lucky dog, you can transform on demand," Hatsuharu said to the coyote.
