"Yes." Adalina replied. She wondered what exactly humans would say about now. In a wolf pack she may have commented on the Alpha - or in this case head of the house - but she didn't think that would work. Right now she was just having trouble thinking, being hungry. She would have to leave soon to hunt. For someone that had the nature of a coyote and that was hungry raw rabbit would be delicious. Actually, now that she got to thinking about it, the only cooked food she had had in pretty much forever, was food from the garbage. "You have odd hair colors." She commented remembering Hatsuharu's odd white and black hair.

"Eheh... yes..." Yuki mumbled.
"Would you like something to eat, Adalina-san?" Tohru asked, smiling. "We just ate, the food is still warm."

Adalina thought for a moment then nodded. "That would be nice. Thank you." She said. This was welcoming pack.
((Adalina is more like me on this site. XD))

((XD))
Tohru smiled. "Okay!" The short girl hurried into the kitchen, and heated up the food. It was salmon loaf, a western recipe that she'd learned recently and had wanted to try. It came out very well. There were also mixed veggies. And, of course, onigiris, which she loved to make, especially when she could fill them with strawberries and such from Yuki's garden. After a minute or so, she returned with a full plate. "Here you go, Adalina-san! Tell me what you think!"

"Thank you." Adalina said again; smiling slightly. Tohru could have given her chum at this point and she would have eaten it and had seconds. "So Tohru... If your not a Sohma why do you live here?" She asked curiously taking a bite out of the food. Adalina was trying to eat like a human. Which was hard for someone that normally ate like a coyote. "And the food is good." She added.

"Thank you!" Tohru said to the compliment, bowing deeply. "Ah, I had been staying in a tent," she admitted.
Shigure began to giggle wildly in the background until Yuki sharply elbowed him in the gut.
"Then I met Sohma-kun and Shigure-san, and they allowed me to stay. And then I met Kyo-kun. And then, when the renovations were finished at my grandfather's house, I moved back there, but... I felt out of place, and Yuki-kun and Kyo-kun came for me and now this is my home," she finished explaining with a smile. "The Sohmas are all just so kind."

"Hm... Yeah. I was on the Sohma's territory and they didn't attack me - er, rather call the cops." Adalina said laughing uneasily. Any normal person would find her one of the oddest people they had ever met. She glanced down for a moment. "So what's so funny about sleeping in a tent?" She asked changing the subject and continuing to eat her food, that really was better then what she was used to.

"Shigure's just rude and laughed at her when he found her in the tent," Yuki said sourly.

"So how do you get a cat and a rat to live together without them killing each other?" Adalina asked absentmindedly.

"Put Tohru-kun in the middle," Shigure said lightly, with a playful grin.
It alarmed Kyo and Yuki a bit, how the girl kept referring to them as a cat and a rat. Both of them turned a little red and glared darkly at Shigure after he said that, while Tohru, too, was flushed, but out of embarrassment.
Shigure laughed nervously under the glares.

"Oh, that's nothing like a wolf pack. You put a female in the middle and it becomes a battle to the death." Adalina said using a tone that seemed strange for such a statement. "Now... Where do I put my plate?" She asked.
((Someone should ask if she's a werewolf. XD The she can laugh a bit and say Walker and they can be like 'huh?' XD))

"I'll take your plate," Tohru said, unphased by the girl's statement.
"The he**? Are you like a werewolf or something?" Kyo asked. All these references to wolf packs...

Adalina shook her head. "No of course not. I'm a Walker. Way different." She replied shrugging slightly. "I only reference to wolf packs because I always seem to be running into them and I've learned it's better to know more about them. So I don't get killed because I was stupid enough to stare the Alpha in the eyes." She explained, giving meaning to how she spoke.

"Walker?" The three kids asked in perfect unison.
Yuki and Kyo glowered at each other.

"I can turn into a coyote." Adalina replied not adding the complete explanation. "I don't get it though... There are twelve Zodiac and no cat. How come you, Kyo, smell like a cat? Unless your the tiger... But I'm pretty sure they have a different scent." She asked.

"Oh, so you know about the curse already..." Yuki mumbled, half to himself.
Kyo glowered. " 'Cause. I'm cursed with the cat. Haven't you heard the story?"
"The cat exists. He's just rejected," Yuki explained simply.

"Ah I see... Or understand... But yeah. It's kinda hard to miss the scent of magic and animal on someone when I'm in my coyote form." Adalina replied. Ah but rejection. She knew the feeling. It wasn't something she enjoyed. She wondered if any of the Zodiac's parents took the transformation like her parents had. Really she hoped not. Her parents treated her worse then a dog. That's why she just refused to stay with them. Either of them.

"Magic? Pfft. It's hardly magic," Kyo said irritably.
For once, it seemed that Yuki agreed with the cat.

"Yeah but it smells like magic. Magic isn't always good. In fact some of it's just plain nasty." Adalina replied, more serious then she had been. Mostly because she was thinking how some of the fae could be brutal. Then there was the werewolves where you could only become one if attacked and practically torn to bits. This world had no 'Disney Land' magic. The curse Zodiac was just another way to prove magic wasn't all that it could appear. "And if a curse is not magic then what is it?" She countered in question.

"A 'promise'," Yuki replied. "That's what it was meant to be. Until it became a burden."
