"I can't believe it hasn't gone south yet," Akito said with a smirk. "The bird must be rather stupid... it's awfully cold out," She said, running her finger tip down the bird's back again.
"You know Christmas? We celebrate it, the Sohmas, I mean. But we didn't celebrate it for the same reason Christians did. We just knew it was a time for family and do the gift-giving and all that. I didn't have the slightest idea until now that it was to celebrate somebody's birth," She smiled at him. "I've never really celebrated. Just gotten a little gift from a Kureno, a card from Hatori... back when Father was alive he would give me a gift, too. Shigure sometimes gives me presents too. But now I can celebrate it with you, Devon," She said, grinning at him. It was a larger smile than she usually had.

"I recently learned, that every year, the Cullens buy each other very expensive gifts, then share them with everybody. One year, Carlisle bought his wife an island..." He said.
"I don't like to be given expensive gifts. It makes me feel awkward. I am looking forward to having Chirstmas with you...only you." He said, showing his smile that he only showed Akito.

Akito smiled. She opened the window a bit, and the dove flew out. She shut the window again. "Mm... Soon it's going to be New Year's... we can't celebrate that together. Every New Year the Juunishi gather together. Then we have a banquet. But either way, I'm still looking forward to Christmas," She said.

"Well, I basically watch over everything. There is a dance. The people with last year's zodiac and the coming year's zodiac are the ones dancing. For example, Yuki, the rat, and Hatsuharu, the Ox, will be dancing, along with the other Rats and Oxes," Akito explained.
"That is... if Yuki doesn't skip out again. Last New Years he did..."

"Quite... well, I was on New Years. Not so much now, as long as he shows up. Kyo, one of the cats, skipped too. I mean, he's not allowed to come for the banquet, but other than that, he is to come, along with the other juunishi. But he skipped too. It's because of that stupid Honda girl, I'm sure," Akito replied.

"Yuki and Kyo seem to like her. Which is probably why they skipped the New Year's Banquet. They skipped it to stay with her, I'm absolutely positive," Akito explained. "I wonder if she's planning that..."

Akito blushed a bit, smiling at Devon. There were fast, rather loud, energetic knocks at the door. Akito jumped a bit, as the loud knocks sounded and she inched a bit farther away from Devon, changing her expression. "Come in..." Akito called.
Momiji came into the room. "Akito-san! The Kaibara High School is having a Culture Festival tomorrow. Can I go?" He asked.
"Yuki's high school?" Akito asked.
"Yeah! Please... can I go?" Momiji asked.
"Yes. Maybe I'll come along... I'd love to see Yuki-kun again..."
((Devon can make a comment on how Aki's too sick to go anywhere that week. XD))

Akito sighed. "Fine then. You can ask Hatori to be your chaperone," She said.
"Yay! Thanks, Akito-san!" Momiji said. There was a gigantic smile on his young-looking face. He turned to Devon. "Ah, hello! I'm Momiji. I'm half Japanese, half Germen!" He said, smiling at Devon. "Who're you?" He asked. It should have sounded a bit rude, but somehow it sounded very polite when he said it.
