"Tadao's curse," Akito said, crawling out of bed. Great. She'd have to go to Tadao and beg him to stay...
Kureno put a hand on Akito's shoulder. "Wait, Akito. Just wait. Lay down for a bit longer."
"No!" Akito said, shoving Kureno away. Kureno didn't try again. She was on her feet now, walking for the door.

Devon followed her. Tadao was Hatori's younger brother...right? He has seen them once or twice. The two really did look alot alike. To a human. Being a vampire, devon could spot even the slightest differences.

Akito turned around to face Devon. "I'd rather you didn't come with me to see Tadao, Devon... This is something between only Tadao and me." She said. Then she opened the door, walked out and shut it.
Kureno sighed as he watched Akito leave. "Flashback..." He murmered. He looked upset. He saw Akito begging him to stay in his head. The memory played over and over again. He shivered a bit.

'Flashback of what?" He asked, coming back to stand with Kunreno.
((He he. This helps add to our Shade and Tadao. Tadao says that he'll stay with Akito and never leave, then she gets mad when she finds out about him and Shade.
Sorry, I'm obsessed with that plot.))

Kureno sighed. You could hear Akito raising her voice. "Not those eyes! Don't look at me with thouse eyes!"
Kureno flinched. He started to tell Devon the story.
"Well... when my curse broke, I was fifteen or sixteen. Akito was about ten. I wasn't sure how to feel. I was happy. I was sad. When my curse broke, I started crying. Tears just started coming. And then Akito... She came running into my room, sobbing, screaming. My eyes were very distant, and that frightened her. That's why just a few minutes ago we heard her saying 'Don't look at me with those eyes'. And she begged me not to leave. She screamed, tears just kept coming and coming and coming. And that frightened me. I had never seen her cry. But basically, that was the flashback. Back when my curse broke." He explained sadly. And you could hear Akito begging Tadao not to leave her.
"Tadao!"
Kureno shuddered as he listened. Was it hard for Tadao? To see his family head breaking down like this?

Kureno just sighed.

It felt like Akito and Tadao were taking forever. Now and then you could hear Akito's tear-choked voice rise. Every time Kureno would flinch, or shudder, or stiffen. You could tell he didn't enjoy it when Akito cried. Soon she came back. She didn't look as upset as she had when she left. Her face was tearstained, but in a way, she looked victorious. Though you could tell it still troubled her. "He said he'd never leave me, then told me that I should go rest," She said quietly.

Devon nodded.
"You should." He told her after he rushed to her side with his vampire speed.
Still being slightly jealous, he picked Akito up and carried her to her bed.

Kureno smiled at them. But he looked a bit sad again. It probably would have been better for Akito if Tadao hadn't promised to stay by her side forever. It may lead to problems.
"Akito-san, mind if I leave?" He asked.
Akito shook her head. "You can go," She said. Kureno nodded and left.
"I'm scared, Devon..." Akito murmered after he'd set her down on her bed.

"And when I was asleep," Akito said with a soft smile, a bit reassured for the moment.
"You know... It's scary to have a curse break when sleeping..." She murmered. "It's like... I feel this sort of snap, and I see who's curse broke, along with their zodiac leaving," She explained.
