"Men are staring at me?" Akito asked in mild shock. "A-are you sure? Why?" Her cheeks heated up slightly, and for a moment Akito hid her face in Devon's shoulder. Many might find it as a cute scene. Soon they entered the restaraunt, and Akito was glad to find out that you could seat yourself, instead of waiting to be seated. She led Devon to the back of the restaurant, where there weren't many people.

Devon chuckled at Akito naive-ness. "Because, Akito, you make a very beautiful girl." He said softly to her, smirking slightly.

((Naivity, I believe. I may have spelled it wrong. XD))
Akito's cheeks continued to redden. "How many times do I have to say that I can't possibly be that beautiful?" She asked. She sat down, and glanced down at the menu curiously. There were some things she'd never heard of before, on there.

Devon chuckled again. "You're right. You're more then beautiful." He told her.

In truth, Akito did think she was rather... pretty when she looked in the mirror, but she adamantly denied it, not wanting to end up being vain, like that idiot Rosalie. Besides, half the time she didn't even believe it was really her when she looked in the mirror. Not a single trace of masculine (sp?) features. So, at this comment, the young woman hid her face in her hands, groaning, "No, I'm not."
Akito finally lifted her head when she heard a woman's voice say, "Are you ready to order drinks?" "Tea," Akito stated in an almost irritated tone.
"Iced tea?"
"Hot."
The woman nodded, scribbling on her notepad. Akito stiffened when she saw the way the woman looked at Devon, then almost possessively, reached across the table and took his hand.
"And what would you like, sir?" The waitress nodded at Devon, not seeming to notice at the death-glare Akito was giving her.

Devon squeezed Akito's hand gently. "Hot tea, too, please." He told her, ordering so he wouldn't look weird. He could always just give his tea to Akito when she finished hers.

((I might not have phrased one sentence right. XD I meant to say that Akito had grabbed Devon's hand, because she didn't like how the woman looked at him, but I'm not sure if you got that or not because of how I said the sentence... XDDDD If you didn't get it (I didn't get it after reading it either), then I'll let you modify if you want))

((XD 'Kay))
The waitress nodded, scribbled that down, and then walked away.
"A lot of women are looking at you like that. It bother's me," Akito stated quietly, glaring at the waitress' back.

Devon smiled slightly. "Now you understand how I feel." He said playfully to her.

Akito looked pretty surprised that so many men would be staring. She was suddenly /very/ interested in the menu, looking down so that her face couldn't be seen. She was bright red.
She finally decided she'd try sauteed clams... She hadn't had those before. She noticed something in the sides that caught her curiousity.
"Devon, what's calimari...?" She asked.

"Squid." Devon told Akito simply. He wasn't sure if she would like it...

Akito frowned. "Who would eat something like that? That sounds disgusting," she stated. The waitress came back and gave them the tea.
"Are you two ready to order?"
Akito nodded, and stated, "Grilled salmon," without emotion.

Devon chuckled at Akito. He stared at his tea for a moment before looking back at the waitress. "I'm not having anything." He told her.

"Are you sure--" The waitress barely got to finish.
"He's sure," Akito practically snapped. She may have been overreacting a bit, but the waitress was pretty, and the way she stared at Devon irritated Akito.
The waitress looked surprised, but nodded and walked away.
Akito muttered something under her breath about women being idiots.

"You're a woman too, Akito." Devon reminded her, chuckling again.

"Yes, yes..." Akito replied. "Most women are idiots, then." She sighed.
((Maybe we should skip lunch... or dinner... or whatever it is. XDDDDDDD That way we can have them go onto the beach. That'll be fun. xD))

The meal had tasted really good, Akito had to admit. As soon as they exited the restaurant, Alice was with them.
"Hey!" She said cheerily. There weren't as many people on the beach now, surprisingly. Of course, there hadn't been that many earlier, either. "Come on, let's go to the beach. It'll be fun," Alice said, taking Akito's hand. She started tugging Akito down the boardwalk, and then to the sandy, slightly rocky, beach, before Akito could say anything.

Devon followed the two girls, listening to the cold waves crash onto the rockier shore. "The beach is very different here." He murmured to Akito as he walked beside the girl.
