Shade sat outside before school started. She was wearing a jean mini skirt today, with no chain and a black and whited stripped tank. She knew she was going to get into trouble for not wearing the uniform. But she didn't care. She didn't care about anything anymore.
Her dark, eyelined eyes scanned the crowd. It was cloudy today, it looked like it was going to rain, but the doors hadn't opened yet so she was stuck sitting on a bench, trying to hide in the shadows of the large building.

Tohru, Uo-chan and Hana-chan on either side of her, walked over to the bench and sat down.
Tohru noticed Shade sitting down on the far end of the bench. "Hello." She said politely.

Tohru was surprised. "What? No, no. You just... looked unhappy. I-I can leave, if you really want me to, though." She bit her lip.

Shade sighed. "No, it's fine, you can stay...I'm just not used to anyone wanting to talk to me. That's all." Shade said, looking away in embarasment. Her dark cheeks turned a pink. It was hardly noticable because she was so tan though.
"I'm Shade." She introduced herself quickly, still looking away.

Tohru's smile was large. The bell rang. "Oh. There's the bell. Maybe I'll see you in class. Will you sit with us at lunch?" She asked, her voice hopefull.

"Sure." She said.
"Who all sits with you?" She asked, getting up frmo were she ws sitting and gathering her homework.

The Cullens? They were perfect....she didn't want to sit next to them, she'd feel out of place. But this was one of the rare opportinuty she got to make friends, so she took it.
"No, I don't mind." She said.
((I think it would be funny if she made friends with Kyo first, since they're kinda alike XD))

"Well, see you at lunch!" Tohru waved and stood up, walking to her next class.

Soon it was time for lunch. Kyo and Yuki sat across from eachother glaring. The Cullens, along with Bella, sat on the same side Yuki was on. Tohru sat by Kyo. There was a space between her and Uo saved for Shade. Saki sat next to Uo. When Tohru saw Shade she waved her over.
((Oh, I also think she'd get along with Uo. XD))

Shade sat down next to Tohru and Uo. She was right. She felt majorly out of place.
What am I doinf here? I don't belong here... she thought.
AS she thought that, Edward spoke up.
"Hello, I'm Edward Cullen. What's you name?" He asked.
"Shade." She said simply.

Edward listened carefully. Her voice, though human, was familar. And the way she smelled. Like cherries.
Brazilian cherries to be exact. He had met only one other person who smelled like that.
"Shade..." Edward began. "What's your last name?" He asked.
"Sato." She said.
