"Yeah." Kyo replied. He opened the door for a moment, long enough that Shade wouldn't be hit by it on the way out, but not long enough that she was ahead of him. They walked to the burger place. The menu didn't have only burgers. It had BBQ Pork, which Kyo ordered with the dipping sauce and seseme (sp) seeds. He also ordered a Coca-cola. "What do you want?" He asked, turning to Shade.

Kyo grinned back. A few girls passed by, either staring at Kyo or glaring at Shade. Kyo grimaced, he could tell they thought he was cute.

Shade watched them pass by. She felt like making a face at them, but that would be childish.

Once they had passed Kyo groaned. "Ugh! I wish I was never enrolled in the school I go to now! Why can't Yuki remain the little 'prince charming'?"

Kyo started eating. Then he took a chopstick from the table, dipped it in his sauce and flicked the sauce at Shade. It splattered on her cheek. He laughed.

Shade betended to be mad at Kyo. She swipped the suace off of her face with her hand, and then she ripped a small peice of her bun off and threw it at Kyo. She laughed when a peice of the melted cheese stuck to his face.

Kyo peeled off the cheese and chuckled. "I can't believe I actually have a friend that's a girl..." He murmered, mainly to himself.

"Yeah... well, other than Tohru's mom. I dunno if I'd call her a friend though... we did get along when I was really little," Kyo chuckled a bit. "But you are my first friend that's a girl my age." He explained akwardly.

She smiled at Kyo's ackwardness. But she was also deeply touched by his words.
