It was cloudy today, but warm. Kind of like one of those days that might turn into a warm thunderstorm. Yuki was sitting carefully on the porch, home alone again. That was happening a lot recently. He had a textbook in his lap as he worked ahead on his homework, so he wouldn't have to do it later in the week. It was math. Fairly easy. He heard very, very quiet footsteps nearby, and glanced up, watching where he was pretty sure the quiet sound was coming from, waiting for somebody to show up. Ember, maybe?

Aro walked up to the boy sitting all alone. So... this is the one.
"Hello..." He called in his almost magical voice. "So you must be the boy..." He said, holding out his hand for Yuki to shake, so he could read all of Yuki's thoughts. "I'm Aro."

Yuki stared for a moment, then grabbed his crutches, pushed himself up carefully, almost clumsily, and shook hands with the man a bit awkwardly.
"How do you know my name?"

Aro smiled, shook the hand, then let go of it.
"I know everything about you now, Yuki Sohma." Aro said to him. His clouded, red eyes dully sparkling in the pale light that managed to push it's way through the dark clouds. "I am Aro of the Volturi."

Yuki just stared for a moment. He hadn't exactly been paying attention before, but this guy had hair like Ayame's. He held in a sight of annoyance at the thought of his brother.
"Volturi?" He asked simply.

"Yes... Volturi... It appears that Ember or the other Cullens have not informed you about us... basicly, we control the whole vampire world. We keep the world of the mysical balanced. Your family has dissrupted that balance." Aro told Yuki.

"No human should be allowed to know the secret of our world. We work very hard to keep it hiden from the outside world. You jsut revleaed one of our secrets to all the lesser beings... it would be a shame to eraddicate them all..." Aro said with a heavy sigh. But it was fake, and it did not appear that he cared at all about the humans.

" 'One of our secrets'? That secret is only my family's. It doesn't exactly concern you, does it?" Yuki asked. He tried to keep his tone soft, polite, instead of snapping. That was not a good idea at this point. "It's more the head of my family's duty to punish me."
He both inwardly and accidentally outwardly shuddered at telling Akito this.

"Again, it's the head of my family's choice on what to do, Aro-san," Yuki said, continuing to be respectful. "It shouldn't give you any problems, only my family. Or even just me, because I'm the only one the people have found out about s far. For all anyone else knows, I'm the only freak." He had accepted the fact that he was a freak, turning into a rat. It was something he'd accepted at a young age, actually. After that one girl found out, and Akito told him.

"How will they find out about everything else? They can't just walk up and hug a shap-shifter. Or 'Children of the Moon'. And vampires are difficult enough to figure out as is, correct?" Yuki replied, tone becoming just a bit harder. This was frustrating.

Yuki's lips formed a tight line, out of nervousness. Could Aro's punishments be worst than Akito's? That was quite possible... He was unsure of what to say.
Shigure was walking up the path to the house.
"Woah, Aya, what's with the black?" Shigure asked, mistaking the back of the white-haired man as Ayame.

Aro turned around.
"I am not Yuki's older brother." He said, his voice sounding amused. "My name is Aro... now you may be informed of me. You do hang out with the mutts, after all." Aro said, looking Shigure up and down with an almost disgusted look. "The form changers... all so barbaric." He said. "I'm dissapointed that your family would actually invite those brutes into your home..." He said, his voice still light and airy.
