Yuki waited impatiently for Ember to show up. He'd called her and invited her over. He had a present wrapped in his room, and Tohru had made a big chocolate cake.
Yuki grinned widely when he heard Ember knock on the door. He and Alice had devised a plan. Invite Ember over, and keep her there long enough for Alice to decorate the house for a party.
He walked over to the door and opened it.

Ember stepped into the house. It was a bit strange... she didn't feel any different. She felt the same as she did when she was fifteen.
She smiled at Yuki.
"Hello, Yuki." She said happily and soft. she shut the door, then walked over to him.

Yuki grinned. "Happy birthday, Ember. Do you want to open your present now?" He gave her a peck on the lips.

"Present? Oh... Yuki... you didn't have to do that." She said almost bashfully, hiding her face from Yuki because blush had begun to appear on her cheeks.

Yuki laughed. "Too bad, 'cause I did." He had gotten her a necklace with crystal clear glass beads that resembled diamond on a gold chane. But the main part of the necklace was the ruby-colored piece of glass that hung from it, shaped like a heart. And it wasn't too big, or too small. He took her hand. "Come on, I left it in my room after I wrapped it."

She grinned. She followed him up the stairs, actually rather anxious to see her gift.

They entered his room and Yuki picked up a rather crudely-wrapped present. "I'm not good at wrapping presents," he said sheepishly, handing it to her. It was wrapped in light purple and pink paper. Tohru had recommended it.

She giggled a bit. "It's fine." She said. She opened the wrapped prestent carefully, as if she might accidently break what ever was inside. She opened it up, starring at the gift.
"Wow... Yuki..." She stared at it. It looked delicate, beautiful.

She smiled softly as she place the chain around her neck, trying to get the casp to close behind her neck. She got it together, running her hand down the chain and gently touching the ruby red heart.
"It's really beautiful." She said softly.

"Thanks," Yuki said. He flushed a pink color. "To be honest, Nii-san suggested the store I should go to to get it for you."

She couldn't help but grin. "Ayame? Well, I seems that he atleast has some good ideas." She said with a smile, she leaned over, giving Yuki a small kiss on the lips.

Yuki grinned. "Let's go downstairs. Honda-san made a cake," he said.
Then he kissed her back. He took her hand again and led her down the stairs and into the kitchen.
"Happy birthday, Em-chan!" Tohru said excitedly.

"No problem!" Tohru said happily. She cut pieces of the cake and handed a piece to Ember, with a fork, and a piece to Yuki as well. "Kyo-kun, do you want some cake?" She called.
Kyo came into the room a few moments later. "Sure," he replied. She handed him a piece of cake as well.
"Don't ask Shigure if he wants any. Dogs can't have chocolate," Yuki said with a laugh. Tohru laughed too, knowing he was joking.

"Thank you! I'm glad you like chocolate!" Tohru said with a grin.
The phone rang. Yuki answered.
"Okay, we're ready for the party. Have Tohru bring the extra cake she said she'd make over, and you bring Ember over. Kyo comes too. I invited Saki and Arisa, and Bella's here too," Alice said.
"Okay," was all he said then hung up. "Hey, Ember, Esme needs you to come back to the house. I'll walk you there."
Tohru knew this was her que. As soon as they had left she'd get the extra cake and walk to the Cullen house with Kyo and Shigure.

"Okay." Ember said with a soft smile. She pulled her jacket back on, When she was a vampire, she rarely wore them, but now that she was human, she could actaully feel the cold.

Yuki walked her out. Tohru got the other cake she'd made out.
"I'll cary this one," Kyo said, picking up the chocolate cake that was missing some slices, since they'd eaten it.
"Good idea, Kyo-kun!" After waiting about five minutes, they went out and started down the path to the Cullen house.

Yuki and Ember soon reached the house. Yuki opened the door. It was dark inside. Then someone flicked on the lights and the Cullens along with Bella shouted "Surprise!"
Saki and Arisa hadn't shown up yet. They were planning on meeting up with Tohru and 'Kyon' while the two were walking.

Ember stared before she felt heat rush to her cheeks.
So that's why Alice had told her to leave...
