"Happy birthday!" Tohru said when she walked in, grinning. This cake was chocolate, with white frosting and chocolate frosting going around the edge.

Ember grinned, but her cheeks were still red.
"You really didn't have to do all of this..." She said bashfully.
"Course we had to, Ginger Kid." Emmett said, giving her a noogie, laughing his booming laugh.

Bella smiled at Ember. "I helped set up," she laughed.
"Hardly. You made my work harder, Bella," Alice said. Bella was clumsy and kept popping balloons and breaking streamers.

"You say it as if I'm out to destroy everything," Bella said.
Yuki watched the two, smiling a bit. He felt a slight twinge of jealousy that Edward was able to embrace girls, but immediately extinguished the feeling so as not to give Jasper problems.
Saki and Arisa entered. "Aw, we weren't able to run into Kyon and Tohru. I wanted so bad to torment-- I mean, talk with Orangey," Arisa whined.
Saki chuckled almost darkly. "Anyway, hello. Happy birthday Ember."
"Having a good time, Prince Charming?" Arisa asked teasingly.
Yuki flushed when Arisa called him Prince Charming. He hadn't yet learned to ignore that nickname. "Err, yeah..."
