SMACK.
Crystal back-handed Shigure across the face. She nearly exploded into her wolf form on Shigure.
"You! You good for nothing, stupid, perverted, dim-witted, back-stabbing, son of a b****!" She hollered at him, shaking.
"You don't care about anyone but yourself! You practically gave a crazed, cold blooded LEECH the permission to kill your ex-girlfriend and the head of your family!" She yelled at him.

Shigure saw stars. Crystal slapped hard. Well, plenty of people (especially women) did.
He wasn't sure what to say. Yes, he'd done everything Crystal just accused him of. He really was that bad.
"Crystal..." He bit his lip. "I-I'm sorry. I know that doesn't make it better. I just want you to know..." He sighed. He was sort of trying to guess at what to say, trying not to anger Crystal.

Happier again. She kind of liked those words.
She tried to count back the last few months, and she saw what washappening slowly. It started after Sam told her she couldn't see Shigure any more, that's when she had gotten bitter. And then she was captured by the Volturi and tortured to the point of insanity. That didn't help much. Now this...
Her expression did not change.
"How can I be sure?" She asked him almost softly.

"I don't know if you even can." She spat out harshly. Ah! She didn't mean it to come out that harsh.
"I-I mean...no...no. S-shigure, I didn't mean, I mean I-I..." She studdered, suddenly at a loss of words.

Shigure smiled at her. "It's okay. I get it. You're mad right now. If you really want to, you can leave. Come back soon, though. Really, how can I prove that I love you? What do you want me to do?"

Crystal bit her lip. "I don't know, Shigure." She sighed after waiting for a couple minutes.

Crystal didn't respond. She turned arond, not facing Shigure anymore. She paused a bit before leaving the house.

He knew quite well that her main intention was not going on a patrol.
