"You didn't sound too sure when you told Angel that you'd take my life over Akito's." She said.

"I knew Akito from the very morning she was conceived in her mother's very womb, Crystal. And I'd had that feeling of love for her from that very moment. Not to mention that the zodiac spirits all have a longing to be with 'god,' who is Akito, which makes it difficult as well..." Shigure explained. Yes, he loved Akito. No, he didn't love her more than Crystal. But he was sure that it was difficult for Crystal to believe that, since he'd even hesitated to which person he wanted to live more than the other.

"Is it stronger then the imprintment?" She asked, almost sounding demanding. Imprinting on Shigure had made a big impact on her. She had even denied Sam, the pack leader. Nobody denied Sam. It was almost impossible.
"But that's not the point. You love her." She said.

"I told her something different," Shigure suggested. "She was eight, and I was fifteen. And she asked me if I loved her, and I told her I.... I thought about her more than anybody else. That I did love her. But that was over a decade ago, I guess it's changed. Besides, she has that d**n Kureno and Devon now."
((Later, if not in the next post, Crystal should ask WHY Shigure and Akito broke up. *laugh* Gosh, Shigure's gonna be in TROUBLE))

"Crystal, don't say that!" Shigure said. "There's no way I'd ever leave you. I swear," He held her tan hand in his, gently. In a way, though, that if she wanted to pull away, she could, easily. He loved her, and it would hurt him if she did, but she had that choice.

Shigure sighed. "Fine. Here's the story. Akito and and one of the other Sohmas, Kureno... slept with eachother. And I... well, I lost my temper. Terribly. I was more mad at Kureno than I was Akito, but, I guess I lost my head a bit. I.. er... did the same thing with..." He paused, not continuing for a good five minutes. "Ren, Akito's mother. Because I had this weird little fantasy, that if Akito had been raised as a girl, she and Ren would look exactly alike."
He waited for Crystal's reaction.

Crystal could have gagged.
"That's...." She couldn't find of a way to discribe it. "... really disgusting." She said to him honsetly. Now how did she know that Shigure wasn't going to get upset with her and sleep with her mother?
Eww, weird thoughts.
Now here came a weird queistion...
"Do you still have that fantasy?" She asked him.
Oh, She hoped not.
