Mika walked down the path to the Sohma main house. She had been offered a job to assist one of the Sohma doctors, where she would also get to study under them. Today, she was dressed in a pair of nice slacks, and a silk pink blouse. Her long wavy hair pulled up in a simple bun, but with a very strands of her hair falling losely down, the waves framing her beautiful face. And from her ears hung small, pearl earings.
She was a beautiful girl.
She stopped infront of a house, excitment building up inside of her petit, lovely body. She knocked polietly on the door once.
She twirled a strand of her dark thick hair around her finger to make it a bit more wavy, and smoothed out the front of her blouse. She knew who lived here. And she wanted to impress him. Which is why she had also chosen a pair of high heels to make herself look a bit more taller and professional... plus they made her legs look great.
She waited almost impatentintly, as she waited for Tadao Sohma to open the door.

Tadao came to the door. He'd come to look just a bit more like Hatori, because his black hair fell slightly in front of his eye. He opened the door and smiled, eyes widening and lighting up with surprise. He didn't know his assistant would be Mika Minako. He hadn't seen her for a while. Not since high school. So... a year or so. He wasn't aware that she still liked him, of course. He was thinking that she and Shade would get along all right.
"Ah! Minako-san, it's nice to see you again. Are you my new assistant?"
He could still look down at her, even when she had the high heels on. He had certainly inherited the height from the same side of the family his brother had.
"Come in," he added, getting out of the way for her to come in.

Mika smiled sweetly at him then stepped inside.
"Didn't I tell you to call me Mika a while back?" She said, teasing him playfully. She gazed up at him with her stone gray eyes, smiling sweetly still.
"Yeah, I'm your new assistant."

"Right, okay. Mika," Tadao chuckled. "It's nice to see you again. I haven't seen a lot of people from High School," he admitted. "So, how are you?" He led her to his office. He'd had a space ready for his assistant.

Mika let out another small laugh.
"I've been fairly good." She said with a small smile. "How about you?"
A small, dark head stuck itself in the door way. Her black hair cascaded over her shoulders.
"Is this your assistant, Tadao?" Shade asked, her green eyes studying Mika.
Mika looked over at Shade. Her gray eyes meeting Shade's green ones. Who was this kid.
"Yes, I'm Tadao's new assistant... are you one of his cousins?" Mika asked.
"No. His girlfriend."

Tadao smiled and strode over to Shade, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. "Yeah. Mika, this is Shade, my girlfriend, like she said. Shade, this is Mika Minako. She's not only my assistant, but also a friend from High School." Without really thinking about whether Mika would mind or not, Tadao kissed Shade's forehead. "Mm, how's Lee?" He asked the younger girl quietly.

Shade leaned into him, resting her head against his chest.
"He's good." She murmured to Tadao.
Mika felt something like... envy build up inside of her. Tadao was dating a kid!
I guess I thought we could just pick up from where we left off... should have known he would have a girlfriend... but she can't be older then fifteen!

Tadao ran his fingers through Shade's hair. He smiled at Mika. "Ah, anyway... we should probably get to work..." he stated.

Mika shifted her weight between her feet a bit uncomfortably at Tadao ran his hands through the child's hair.
"Um, sure." She said, looking away slightly.

Tadao caught that he was making Mika uncomfortable and lowered his hand, inconspicuously keeping it on Shade's back. "Shade, do you want to hang around here while we work, or do you have plans with Kyo-kun?" He asked. His girlfriend often enjoyed spending time with the orange-headed cat.

Shade kept an eye on Mika.
"I'll hang here." She told Tadao. She didn't trust this new girl. She was too pretty.
Mika turned to her desk that was neatly organized.
"I can't wait to start." Mika said excitedly.

Tadao smiled. "You might be disappointed. We don't have much to do today except paperwork," he replied to Mika, going to his own desk, bringing Shade over with him. He had an extra chair at his desk because sometimes she did stay in and watch. It helped to give him some company while he worked. He took half of his pile of paperwork and set it on Mika's desk. "It'll be pretty boring unless the head of house comes in. He's sick a lot." He chuckled a bit. It's not like he found Akito's sickness amusing, or anything like that. But sometimes it was... interesting, when Akito came in.

Mika nodded. "That's alright." She said, flashing Tadao a beautiful smile. She pulled the pony tail holder out of her hair and the black waves cascaded over her shoulders, she shook her shiny mane of black hair once, which produced a dazzling effect. She smiled up at Tadao again.
Shade frowned, Tadao's back was turned away from her.

Tadao really didn't seem phased by the shaking of hair and the pretty smiles. In Tadao's eyes, Shade was, and always would be, the most beautiful woman to exist. And so he merely smiled back at Mika, and set down the papers. "Luckily it's not difficult to fill out the forms. The work is just tedious and boring," he stated as he headed back to his desk and started back on his pile of paper work. He was basically oblivious to the tension that seemed to radiate off of his girlfriend.

Shade smirked. Ha. Take that. He didn't even look at you.
Mika frown slightly. She would have to try something else. But she had a lot of tricks, and she would not let Tadao fall for a little kid.
Shade watched Mika out of the corner of her eye. She scooted a bit closer to Tadao, linking her arm with his.

Tadao pecked Shade on the cheek, and started doing paperwork, scribbling quickly, handwriting in it's usual messy form.
"I swear, the pile's only getting bigger," he said, after a tension-filled silence, closing his eyes.

Mika let out a soft laugh that was as charming and cute.
"Wow, I didn't know you took care of so many people. You must have a big family." She commented.
Shade nodded. "Yeah. It's huge." She said with almost no emotion. She stared Mika in the eye, a werewolf dominance contest. Mika, though, didn't know it and looked away, making Shade the winner because she never looked away. Shade smirked and turned back to Tadao.

"Yes. When my older brother gets back--he's been away--I'm probably going to go on to the hospital, though. I've been wanting to work there. But Nii-san still needs all the help he can get, to I'm not all too sure." Tadao chuckled. He didn't glance at her as he spoke because he was writing and talking at the same time.

"You'll do fine, I'm sure." Mika said. She leaned over and touched his back lightly, rubbing it. She pulled away quickly though, because of the glares coming from Shade.

Tadao chuckled. He'd merely felt it as a friendly gesture. "Thanks, but with this family... heh. It's hectic around here, really."
He was beginning to have a faint idea of the tension in the room and so he wrapped one arm around Shade's shoulders to calm her down. Good thing she was on his left side and he was right handed.
