Shade snuggled up a bit closer to him, almost in a protective manner, like trying to keep Mika away from Tadao.
Mika smirked now at Shade, knowing that she had upset the little girl.
"You know, Tadao, we should go out to eat later tonight, to catch up. And Shade- that's you name, right?- she can go over to a friends house or something." Mika suggested to Tadao, sounding completely innocent.

"Why not have Shade come along?" Tadao suggested. "That way you two can get to know each other, too." He personally liked the idea.

"Oh... I was hoping that it would just be us..." Mika told Tadao, allowing the dissapointment to show in her voice and in her lovely, angelic face.
Shade rolled her eyes while Tadao's attention was towards Mika. Why that little... She's was faking the whole dissapointment, she'd bet.

"Mika-san, we could do something alone some other time," Tadao suggested. "I know you want to catch up, but we can do it with Shade, too. She's great, really fun." He turned his attention back to the paper work before him.
He was positive the pile was growing...

"Finally," Tadao said, tilting back in his chair, stretching his arms. "Work's done! Let's go. Shade, want me to go get Lee-kun?" He pecked her on the lips after standing up and pulling her up with him.

Mika felt jealous again at the kiss. She was just a kid! A little girl!
But.... who was Lee?
"Sure." She said with a slight shrug. "That way mom and Hatori won't have to watch him." She said.

Tadao nodded, heading out of the office. He returned a few minutes later cradling a sleeping baby boy. He expected Mika to be surprised, and he hoped she didn't get the wrong idea.

Mika just stared. It was a baby. Tadao had a baby. She knew that both of his parents had passed, so this couldn't be his little brother or something.
"... You have a kid." She stated bluntly, blinking.
Tadao had a baby with a kid.

Tadao could tell that Mika had definitely taken it the wrong way.
"Ehh, whatever you think it is, Mika, you're probably incorrect. It wasn't on purpose, and Shade and I... didn't do it." He was trying to put it in a way that explained that Shade and him weren't the type of people to run off and... 'make a kid'.
