Akito sat outside in the cold. She was barefoot... she couldn't help it, she liked being barefoot. She had a coat on over her robes though. She was sitting on her porch right outside her living room, looking at the garden. This morning it was covered in frost and she started at the sky, which was a pearly gray color. It looked like the clouds were carrying snow and she suddenly felt a feverish feeling run through her, but she stayed outside, waiting for Devon. She covered her mouth as she broke into a slight coughing fit.

"What are you doing out here?" He scolded her as he approached.

"I felt like coming out here." Akito said, pushing herself to her feet. A shiver ran through her, but she acted as if she hadn't felt it. Just then white flakes began to fall, but very few and very slowly. She held out her hand. "I miss playing in the snow..." She murmered, as if still a child.

"You're too sick to play, now. " He said, but took her hand.

"I know, I know..." Akito murmered. She allowed Devon to lead her back inside. "And on those rare days when I'm well I'll get sick if I go outside during the colder seasons..." She sighed and went over to the couch to sit down. Fever rolled through her again.

He smiled sweetly at her. "That's why you should stay inside." He said.

"It sucks having to stay in all the time." Akito murmered. She wrapped her arms around herself as if cold without really thinking about it.

Devon quickly got her a blanket and turned up the heat.

"Thanks..." Akito murmered quietly.

Devon nodded then sat down next to her.

"Wow, not calling Hatori to get my medicine today?" Akito asked in mock amazement.

"I know you wouldn't want it...but if you want me to call him..." He smiled and suggested in a teasing manner she should get Hatori.

Akito glared at him, but she wasn't really mad. "I was just going to warn you that he was up all night so you shouldn't call him." She said, resisting the urge to stick her tongue out at Devon like a little kid.

"All right, whatever you say." He smilled at her, leaned in, and kissed her. He pulled away, obvouisly embarrased. He didn't need to blush with the way he was acting now. He keppt his head down and played with his hands. "Sorry..." He said quietly.

"Go on, do it again," Akito encouraged. "You can't get sick, it's fine." She giggled that girlish giggle and this time she was embarrassed. She hated it when she giggled like that...

He titled her chin up and looked in her. He kissed her again, this time more comfortable.

Akito kissed him back. She couldn't breathe but she didn't care right now.

Devon, even though he didn't want to, pulled away. "I don't want to hurt you.' He said.

Akito shoved the sadness out of her eyes this time. "You won't hurt me." She argued. "You can control yourself in a huge building like that Church with a whole bunch of people, you can control yourself kissing me."

He shook his head. "Your scent is more appealing to me, then thos people in the church." He said, burinshin her hair away from her nect and tilting her head over so that he could get a better look at it. It was taunting him, like a ripe peice of fruit just waiting for him to sink his teeth into.
