Ember met Akito's glare with dark eyes. She couldn't bring herself to answer. She knew if she said yes Akito might hurt Yuki...but if she said no it would be lying and Yuki might have doubts...

Akito's eyes narrowed angrily. She took a step forward.
((Devon should like, realize that Aki's gonna try to hurt Em. Aki doesn't know that Em can't be hurt by Aki. Devon should hold Aki back for her own protection.))
