Devon nodded. He walked back to the car, glancing back to make sure AKito was still following and not attacking someone.
Ember didn't leave from her spot.

Akito was following, right behind Devon.
Oh good, the little b**** isn't following. Akito thought. She climbed into the car and slammed the door shut loudly.

Devon got into the car and quickly began to drive Akito home, he figured that was the one place Akito wanted to be now.
Ember watched. What was his problem?

"I didn't want you getting hurt...and Ember has had some...diffculties in the past about restraining herself and chosing the right thing." Devon said. Ember 'condition' I guess you could call it was one of the first things that was explained to him.

The car was beginning to speed up. One hundred sixty miles an hour. She closed her eyes. She didn't want to look through any windows. She gripped the seat tightly.

Akito walked briskly into the house and through the halls, ignoring the maids who kept asking her questions with the subject of where she had been. She and Devon finally reached the Akito's rooms and she went in. She immediately relaxed. She sat down in a chair and started rubbin her shoulder, where she was hurt from trying to pull away from Devon.
