Akito glared. She knew what he was saying, and noticed the look. She opened her mouth to say something, then closed it. The expression of anger on her face melted away, replaced with one of shock and fear. Hot tears pricked her eyes, and under her breath, she mumbled, "Shigure..." Then her knees crashed onto the wood floor and held herself, crying as if she were the only one in the room.
((Poor Aki. This is probably one of the hardest ones for her. XD Considering she was in love with Shigure once upon a time.))

Devon rushed fowards, shoving Kasier out of the way and gently picking up Akito.
"What's wrong? What did Shigure do?!" He tone rising in anger. What did that sneaky ba****d do this time?!?

"He... he didn't do anything," Akito replied, tears rolling. "His curse. I-it broke." Her shoulders were shuddering.
More quietly, barely using her voice at all, she breathed, "She's winning." Of course, anybody who really knew Akito would knew what she meant. Ren was winning the bet they'd made.

Devon hugged Akito, gently storking her head.
"Oh, Akito. Oh, Akito, I'm so sorry." He said softly, hugging her tighter.

Kaiser was still in Akito's line of vision and she managed to direct a pretty dangerous glare at him after she'd recovered a bit and wasn't crying. She wanted to say something to the b*****d, but she was worried her voice might be hoarse, and didn't want to sound like that when yelling at someone.

Kaiser jsut stood there, not sure what to do. But then he stepped forward.
"Move away." He growled.
Devon stood up from where he was holding Akito.
"What?" He growled back.
"Move away from her." Kaiser snarled.
"No."
"Move away, Devon."
Devon stood you up, snarling now.
They were like two tom cats fighting over territory. Any minute now, and it's be an ugly brawl.

Akito stood up herself, now.
"Who do you think you are, telling him to get away from me?!" She roared at Kaiser. She got in the way, standing between them. She didn't want any harm coming to Devon. Though she was sure he could easily beat Kaiser in a fight, there was still a possibility he'd get hurt. Akito didn't want that.

Kaiser hissed. "I'm your husband, he shouldn't be touching you." He growled.
Devon snarled at him. "She doesn't love you, she loves me!" Devon snapped back.

"You're not my husband yet. We're not married. And if I have anything to do with it, we never will!" Akito took a couple steps backward until she was leaning on Devon. "If anyone shouldn't be near me, it's you." Her eyes were slits as she gazed at Kaiser with the purest hatred.

"I can't just learn to love someone. I love Devon. I don't need you," Akito hissed. She reached behind her, taking Devon's hand. A silent promise that there was no way she'd fall for Kaiser.

Kaiser smirked agaian. "According to the standards back then, she really was a witch." Kaiser said with a shrug.
Now that was one thing Rhea didn't like to be called.
"I'm not a witch!!" She screeched at him. Then she was sent into a somewhat blind rage.
Grabbing an end table by the top, the vase sliding off, Rhea swung it around and smashed the endtable into his body, the peices fragmenting into a million splitters and flying evereywhere. Devon sheilded Akito's body from them.
((I figured someone should try and hurt Kaiser. XD))

Akito was thankful that Devon had sheilded her. She could just imagine what a problem it would have been if so many pieces of the table had hit her. But she looked around Devon to give Rhea a gaze of approval for what she'd done.

Rhea looked livid, and she said very softly to him, a hint that she would beyond furious.
"I. Am. Not. A. Witch." She hissed out quietly, growling slightly at the end.
Devon seemed proud Rhea stuck up for herself.
Rhea turned awayf rom Kasier, then said to Akito.
"You okay?" She asked.

She then looked to Rhea and nodded just slightly, a response to the girl's question.
"You two can kill him if you want."
