"What?!" Akito roared at the maid. She'd just been explaining that she was going to tell the rest of the family about her gender. Of course, this maid was the head maid, and already knew. The young head of house couldn't believe what the woman had just said. "I am not going to get married because of some idiotic arranged marriage!"
"The man is a Sohma, Akito-san," ((Or so she thinks. XD)) the maid said calmly. "He lives on the 'inside' and is aware of the curse."
"I won't get married!" Akito snapped.
"Akito-san, you need to produce an heir--"
"I already told you I'm pregnant. So why should I get married?"
"We don't want the heir to being head of the Sohma Family to be someone that is not of Sohma blood. Even your mother was of the Sohma family. And nobody wants you to make an even poorer choice than your father did. He chose a maid. You shouldn't choose somebody on the 'outside'."
Akito opened her mouth to object when the maid interjected. "Akito-san, it is your duty to the family. To your father. Do you want to destroy the bloodline? Only the Juunishi are low enough to marry outsiders. You are better than them, yes?"
The head of house sighed, exhausted. "If anything, put off the marriage for a few years." That way I can think of a way to keep it from happening.
"Yes, Akito-san."
"And I might as well meet the man," Akito added irritably.
"I will get him right away," the maid replied. She left the room. Akito let out a string of curses, and about ten minutes later, the maid returned with the man.

The man walked in, being taller then Akito, but still shorter then Devon. He was a very attractive man, with dark, wavy hair and a Grecian profile. He looked strong, too.
But the strangest, and perhaps the most attractive feature about him, were his mahagony eyes.
He smiled at Akito, the grin much more... how to describe it... charming?... then Devon's smirk or soft smile.
"Hello, you must be Akito." He said, giving her a deep bow. "My name is Kaiser."

The maid had left, so the two could meet each other.
Akito didn't smile. There was the slightest glare directed at him.
"Hajimashi.te," she said coldly. The young family head didn't seem to notice the charming smile. She was focused on the eyes.
"You're a vampire..." she mumbled under her breath. There was no way she was related to him...

Kaiser smiled. "You are very clever, Akito. Yes, I was changed, but I reassure you that I am indeed a Sohma." Kaiser told her rather seriously.
"And you are pregnant with another vampire." He stated.

"I don't believe that," Akito said to the first statement. Then to the second replied, "Yes, I am. And don't expect me to ever get pregnant with one of your children." Her tone was cold, hard, angry.
((XD Well they're just getting along, huh? XD And Rhea and Dev-kun can come in whenever you'd like. Just so ya know.))

Kaiser just let her snap at him. He was good at controling women.
"You know, you look beautiful when you're angry. Like a fierce beauty. And you eyes look like a storm out in the middle of the ocean." He told her, smiling softly at her again. "And it doesn't matter if you have a child with me... I can just claim that the one you are carrying now is mine."

Akito seemed unphased. "I would rather you didn't," she said. "Aren't you angry about this? You have to marry somebody you don't even know."

Kaiser shrugged. "It had always been expected of me to have an arranged marrige. I haven't concidered any other possiblilties." He said to her. Which was pretty much true...

Akito turned away. She hated it when people said things like that. 'This is what your father would have wanted.' Because then, she couldn't say no. She had to do what her father wanted of her.
"Devon can take care of me," Akito replied, more quietly, still not looking at him. "I don't need you."

((I had an idea. Maybe Kaiser really IS a Sohma, like the curse existed that long ago, and he was the past 'god'. Muaha, wouldn't that be cool? XD))

"Akito. Listen to yourself. You sound like a child." Kaiser told her sternly. "It doesn't matter what we want. You can't just be thinking about yourself all the time, think about your family." He said, his voice dropping to a gentlier tone.

"My family doesn't care who I marry," Akito said angrily. "If they are allowed to marry outsiders, I should be able to do so as well. I am the god of the Juunishi and can do what I wish. And you know what? I don't care if I sound childish. I want Devon, not you."
