Tadao smiled, and very gently lifted her off of him and set her down in a laying position on the couch. He sat on the floor, resting his chin on the couch near her swollen stomach. He was sure he could almost hear as the child kicked, very lightly. Hopefully, not hard enough to wake Shade up.

Kira walked in, her hair slightly damp and her clothes changed. The body shirt had been thrown out, and it was obvious she had taken a shower. She was slightly surprised to see that the two were still here, but said nothing about it.
"Oh... hello, Tadao." She said softly. her eyes gazing over at her sleeping daughter, then back at Tadao.

"I'm guessing Hatori's back at the Cullen House by now." Kira said, her voice a bit sad. THe bite mark on her neck was red and puffy, clearing showing each tooth mark.

Tadao nodded. He saw the bite, and said nothing, deciding not to stare. "So, how's the pregnancy going?" He asked her curiously.

Kira nodded again. "Do you know... how her baby... is doing?" Kira asked. Shade's child was a touchy subject, it brought back painfull memories both of what happened to Shade and what happened to herself and her sister when they were younger...

"Well, Shade-chan seems to be almost looking forward to being a mother. I felt it kick, a little. So it must be healthy." Tadao sounded proud, as if this was his child, and the father wasn't some other man that had, well, raped Shade.

Kira smiled. "That's good, I'm happy that she's not upset." Kira said, gazing at her daughter. She noticed how proud Tadao sounded. She was also happy Shade had someone like Tadao to help her through that.
