New Year's Banquet

[Akkii]

"Ahaha! Hello. Devon, right?" Shigure said. He looked happy, but he too was glaring. "And hello Akito!"

"Shigure," Akito nodded to him, then looked to Yuki.

"Hello, Yuki," She said.

"Ah, hello Akito-san. I... I er... wanted to speak to you about something alone," Yuki said to Akito.

"All right," She agreed. She motioned to Kureno to follow, Yuki didn't notice.

Mizuki watched. Oh boy, this could get ugly. She supressed a laugh. Just one more reason she wasn't a people-person.

[Akkii]

Akito led Yuki inside, and a few feet behind them the red-haired Kureno followed.

Suddenly Mizuki had an idea. Since she wasn't going to be talking to anyone...

SHe tiptoed after them silently and silenced her breathing.

[Akkii]

Akito and Yuki went into a room where they could have some privacy. They sat down on the floor next to eachother. Yuki wasn't surprised when Kureno came in. He and Akito were very close.

"Akito, I wanted to talk to you to say that I forgive you for the past. Wait... no," Yuki shook his head. "I'm not going to force the blame onto anyone anymore. If I do, how will I be able to grow to be a better person?"

Rage flamed up inside Akito. But she didn't know why. And Yuki's eyes were so different. No... not those eyes! Her fists clenched. she was unaware that Mizuki had followed them and was probably standing outside the room.

Devon just stood here, glaring at Shigure.
"You smell like those mutts." He said, a bit of venom in his voice.

Mizuki's eyes widened, yet they were confused. Clearly, she was missing a vital peice of information. Her forhead creased. Well, spying was fun, anyways.

[Akkii]

Shigure chuckled coldly. "So? I hang out with dogs. You hang out with people who were designed to suck human blood, but you all don't," He said. He wasn't saying it to insult the vampires, because he didn't dislike them.

"Am I the only dog here you hate, or something? There are plenty of other dogs around here, if you'd like to harrass them as well," Shigure said.

Akito jumped to her feet. "Apoligize!" She picked up a nearby glass vase and flung it at Yuki. It hit his forehead and shattered. Ow. He put his hand over the new wound.

"APOLOGIZE!" Akito demanded again. "APOLOGIZE!"

Kureno ran up and held Akito back, well aware that if he didn't, she just may go further than throwing a vase at his forehead.

"I'm sorry, Akito," Yuki said.

Akito breathed hard, angry.

((Devon would have heard the glass shatter. He should run in, and then nearly attack Yuki when he smells the blood. XD))

Mizuki gasped and jumped back. She was frozen to the spot. Then she decided that helping was more important than hiding. She leaped out and grabbed Akito's arms and pulled them behind his/her/its back. "CHILL, OKAY?" she yelled.

[Platinum]

"Go back to that mongrel." He spat out, meaning Crystal.
Devon's eye widened. He turned away rom Shigure and ran to the house.

He flew the dor open, and saw the blood.

Oh, The blood...

His eyes darkened, and he ran over to Yuki, he turned him over so that he was face him. He licked some of Yuki's blood off of his finger tips
"Ember was right, you do taste good." A gowl tore out of his throat.

Mizuki looked around at them. "Uh..." she said clulessly.

[Akkii]

Shigure was surprised when Devon ran off. Shigure followed. Crap. Blood. Crap. Vampire.

Akito turned to Mizuki. "Stay out of this b****!" She tore out of Kureno's and Mizuki's grasp and rushed over to Devon. "No, Devon! stop!" She said.

Yuki backed away. Blood was dripping down his face from the cut on his forehead, and his hand was covered in blood.

"Devon, snap out of it!" Akit said.

"OW!" Mizuki yelled as Akito escaped. "Let me help!" she exclaimed.

[Platinum]

Devon let out hiss when Akito approached, a warning for her to stay away.

[Akkii]

Akito reeled backward, surprised by the fact that Devon had just hissed at her.

Shigure was trying to stop Devon as well. "Stop it, Devon. You don't want to hurt anyone. You know it, I know it. Control yourself!"

[Platinum]

Devon clenched his fists. He bit his lip to keep from breathing.
He got up quickly and walked away from Yuki.

[Akkii]

Yuki breathed kind of hard. Shigure had ran back outside and gotten Hatori so the doctor could take care of the scratch.

Akito glared at the Mizuki. "Get out," She said, pointing to the exit.

Kureno looked to her. He didn't glare or anything. 'Go,' he mouthed.

She walked back over to Devon, who was walking very quickly. She practically had to run to keep up.

"Devon..." She said. They were out of the room and alone for the timebeing.

[Platinum]

"I lost control again!" He yelled, his fist crashed into the nearest wall. He still didn't look at Akito.

[Akkii]

Akito heard a crack as Devon's fists hid the wall. She nearly flinched. Wow. Strong.

"Devon, you couldn't help it. He was bleeding. His own fault, anyway..." Akito muttered the last part under her breath, hoping Devon hadn't heard it.

[Platinum]

"How is me attacking himhis own fault?" He asked, his fist still in the same spot.
