Hatori pulled up by the house. Yuki was sitting outside with Ember, obviously trying to get away from his brother, who was inside. He looked up when he heard Hatori's car. Hatori climbed out, then helped Kira out. It wasn't as snowy or icy here, since it was hard for snow to fall through the trees' leaves.
"That was a nice dress you wore the other day, Yuki..." Hatori said, joking, but not in a rude way.
Yuki rolled his eyes, but smiled. "Yeah, whatever. Who's with you? She looks like Shade..." He said.
"Oh, Shade's mother. She said she wanted to see Shigure and Ayame again."
"Oh, okay. You've already warned her, about how odd Ayame-nii is, right?" Yuki asked.
Hatori chuckled and nodded.

Ember watched Kira. That smell...it was more distingtive with Kira then it was with Shade...
"Hello, my name is Ember." She said, brushing her long red hair behind her shoulder.
"I'm Kira, and it's nice to meet you both." She said with a small smile. She wondered what zodiac Yuki was.

Hatori led her in the house.
"Tori-san!" Ayame said excitedly. "Haa-san!" Shigure chimed in.
"Eheh, hey guys. I brought Kira over..." Hatori said, obviously the only calm man in there. Kyo was walking down the stairs. "He Shigure, do you know where Tohru--" He cut himself off as he saw Kira.
"Oh, hi..." He said to Kira. "What're you doing here, Kira-san?" He asked, confused.

"Ahaha, she said she was running a few errands!" Shigure replied airily, as always.

"How've you been? It's been forever!" Ayame said. Yuki walked in then. He'd overheard what Ayame said. "You sound like a girl, Nii-san," He said.

Kira's smiled got a bit wider.
"I'm doing fine, Ayame-san...how are you?" She asked.

"Very good!" Ayame laughed, obviously ignoring Yuki's comment for the moment. Though he'd probably bring it up sometime, much later... suddenly say 'You're so cold Yuki!' and catch Yuki off guard.
Kyo was drinking straight out of the milk carton in the kitchen.
"Hey, idiot, other people drink get milk from there," Yuki said.
"Shut up!" Kyo said as he put the milk back.
"I'm wasn't talking when you said that," Yuki retorted.

Kira chuckled when she heard Yuki and Kyo bickering.
"You were right, Hatori-san." She told him. "They do sound like they fight all the time." She said, looking up at him. Her vibrant green eyes sparkled today. She had a certain glow about her that she hadn't had in a long time.

Hatori smiled at her.
Shigure gasped in mock surprise. "Ha'ri's smiling! Oh my gosh!"
Hatori rolled his eyes.
You could hear Kyo yelling from the kitchen, Yuki snapping back coolly and then them getting into a fist fight, and then the shattering of glass as Kyo was kicked through the window.
"My house!" Shigure wailed.

Kira's cheeks turned a soft pink at Shigure's comment.
She then jumped when Kyo got kicked through the window.

Nobody seemed concerned that Kyo got kicked out a window. And in fact, a few minutes later, Kyo walked in through the front door, slamming it behind him. "D**n Yuki, d**n Yuki, d**n Yuki..." He muttered.

Kyo didn't look harmed in the least. Just had some dirt on him.
"D**N YOU!" He said to Yuki, then went upstairs.
"Kira, don't be worried, Kyo and Yuki get into fistfights all the time, and that always happens to Kyo. There's no reason to be concerned for him," Hatori said to Kira.
