"I can erase people's memories," Hatori explained. "When Kana thought my sight loss was her fault, she was suffering. She went ill. She got heart sick. So I erased me from her memories. All the memories she had of us being together. They're gone. She has no memory of the event. She's engaged to be married now. She looked so happy, last time I saw her..." Hatori said, smiling sadly.

Kira looked sad.
"She doesn't remember you at all?" She asked. The event must of been teribble for Hatori-san. he must of been so heart broken...

Hatori shook his head. "No, not at all. And, if I go near her, I'm afraid I may trigger those memories to come back. I don't want her to be hurting again. She's happily in love now, I can't destroy that," He said to Kira.

She looked down at her hands for a moment. This was all very sad.
She looked up at Hatori again.
"I'm sorry." She said again.

"Mm, don't be. At least I have two good friends. Odd... but good," Hatori chuckled a bit. "The 'Mabudachi Trio' is still going strong. Remember when Shigure and Ayame and I had formed a sort of club thing back in middle school?"

Hatori laughed a bit. "Ahaha... Yes... they said you were pretty a few times," He said, smirking. "Shade apparently went down to Shigure's, Kyo's and Yuki's house one or two times..."

"Shade had said something about going down to Shigure's house a few times." She said.

Hatori smiled. "She's also seen Ayame and Yuki-- they're brothers-- argue," He chuckled a bit. "They have brother problems. Remember how unaware of others' feelings Aya was back in school?"

"Well, Aya sorta hurt Yuki a while back. Yuki's over it for the most part, but Ayame's sorry for it," Hatori chuckled a bit. "He weirds Yuki out a lot. Ayame's outlandish," He explained.
"Maybe you could come with me to visit them at Shigure's house sometime," He said.

"Maybe I'll swing by tomorrow and if you're feeling better I'll take you down there. Ayame invited me to go to Shigure's house yesterday," Hatori said, standing up. "But right now I should get going. The head of the family is sick today and I need to make sure he's taken the medicine that I told him to take before I came here," He said, smiling a bit at Kira.
"See you tomorrow," He promised.

"See you then," Hatori said, smiling at Kira. He walked out and closed the door behind him.
~12:30 pm the next day~
A lot of the snow that had fallen had melted in the morning. It was oddly warm today. The temperature was up in it's forties. Hatori drove to Kira's house. He parked in front of her house, climbed out of the car, and knocked on her door.

Kira, how had been sitting on her couch, waiting for Hatori, got up quickly and went to the door.
She opened the door and smiled at Hatori. Her greens eyes lit up almost instantly.
