"Don't be," Yuki murmered. "I must admit, it kind of is disgusting to turn into a rat. I think the scariest part for her is that she... er... kissed me," he told her. "So she must have been disgusted to find out she kissed a filthy rat..."

"Thanks, Ember," Yuki said. He smiled at her weakly. He managed to stand upright now, so she wouldn't have to hang onto him, and very carefully bent down and grabbed his crutches. He almost stumbled forward and fell, but regained his ballance.
"It really surprised me, that you heard me, and came," he murmered to her.

Yuki nodded. "Either way, you came. If you'd known it was me, would you have come, or avoided me?" He asked. The question was very serious.

Ember paused for a moment, then answered carefully.
"I would come... to help you. But then I would leave." She told him gently.

Yuki was glad for the first answer, but then what she added disappointed him. His face fell. "So, are you leaving now, then?" He ased. His voice sounded sort of broken.
He wondered if it really was that she didn't want to hurt him again. What if he just wasn't good enough? He'd never imagined a boring guy like himself to ever be liked by her.

"I should leave." Ember told Yuki. "Good bye." She said to him. She turned around, then walked back up to the Cullen House.

Ember stopped, but didn't turn around, so her back was still facing Yuki.
"I can't be around you." She said to him, still not facing the boy.

"Did you really break up with me because you don't want to hurt me again? If so, I'm not going to move on," Yuki said quietly, completely serious. "If you don't love me anymore, then I'll try." He swallowed hard. He obviously expected her to say she didn't love him.
((Just an idea. She could say she does't want him anymore, like Edward did with Bella. XD You don't have to though. Just a way to make this more interesting.))

Ember sighed. This was going to hurt. Both of them.
"Yuki... I don't love you anymore." She told him, her face held no emotion, and her voice was almost flat and monotone.

Despite expecting her to say that, Yuki's eyes widened slightly. "Oh... o-o-okay..." he said quietly. "You can... go on then..." He gripped his crutches more tightly, fearing that he might fall down.

Yuki sighed. He didn't notice that he was crying, because it was still pouring rain. He sighed, and went the direction Ember had gone, in the direction of his house. His broken leg was so sore from falling like that. He winced every time it moved a bit.
