"Well, I don't live there anymore. I've been living with my older cousin Shigure since I was about fourteen," Yuki explained. "And before that, I spent time with the head of my family, so I never needed watching over by my parents." He didn't mention that he'd despised being Akito's companion and now feared the head of house.

"Ah, yes," Yuki replied. Why did the conversation have to go in that direction? Images of Ember crossed his mind, and his eyes looked pained for a moment. But he shook his head, vigorously, getting the thoughts out. "Why do you ask?"

Emiko noticed the slight pained look. She wondered what that was, but didn't ask.
"Just wondering... they're a bit strange. They're never at school on sunny days but they manage to keep their grades up..." She said.

Yuki nodded. "Yeah, they really like the outdoors, and go camping on sunny days. I'm guessing that they just get their work when they get back and finish it," he explained. They were soon in a neighborhood that looked familiar only because Yuki picked her up once. "That's your house down there, right?"

Yuki smiled at her and continued walking. He stopped in front of her house. "You really do have a nice house. I like it. Anyway, see you tomorrow?" He asked.
((Huuug! XD Then she freaks out, and then he transforms, then when he changes back and is dressed and such, I'm going to have him have attack and collapse, and then Ember will be nearby and will hear. XD You like that idea?))

Yuki gasped as she hugged him. There was a poof of thin, lavender smoke.
A little rat stood on the side walk, on top of a pile of Yuki's clothes, looking up at Emiko.

Emiko couldn't believe her ears. She stood up and stumbled backwards, trying to get away from him. She turned and rushed into her house, leaving him there.

Yuki blinked, then sighed. Well, that hurt. She just rejected him, didn't she? Oh shoot, he needed Hatori to erase Emiko's memories. He looked around the neighborhood. The streets were empty. He changed back, and quickly pulled his clothes on. Oh, his leg hurt. Terribly. His clothes were drenched, plastered to his skin. He grabbed his crutches, and struggled to stand up. After he was upright, he started to walk away from the house.
After getting about a block away, he coughed a few times. He continued to walk. Then he coughed more. His chest hurt. He kept going, faster now, wanting to get back to the house. He broke into a coughing fit and fell. His broken leg hit the concrete hard, and he let out a sort of strangled, almost silent cry. He continued to cough, unable to breathe.
((Well, Yun's in quite the predicament, huh? XD))

Ember was talking a walk outside, when she heard a faint crash. SHe wondered who it could be, so she made her way over to it.
She paused when she saw Yuki.
Ember noticed that he was coughing, so she rushed over to him, pulling him up slightly.

Yuki was finding it just a bit easier to breathe. "Ember," he gasped out, in disbelief. To be honest, he had expected that he would die there.

"Home," Yuki admitted. It was still getting easier to breathe. It was a minor attack, and would wear off without the inhaler. He was still wheezing a bit, though.
"I'm... I'm glad you came."

Ember didn't respond to his last statement.
"Are you okay now?" She asked him, averting her eyes from his face. She stared at the ground as she spoke.

"You know what? I was hanging out with a girl. She hugged me, I changed, she freaked out, and she ran away," he said quietly. He sounded broken when he said it. He didn't 'like' her, but she'd been so disgusted, and she'd rejected him.
